Today is supposed to be the happiest day of my life. I'm engaged to the man of my dreams , and in a few short hours, I'm going to stand before a judge, who will declare us husband and wife, till death does us part . Despite some bumps in the road, this day is everything I dreamed it would be. There's only one problem: Someone out there doesn't want me to live long enough to say my vows. And if I'm not careful, they may very well get their wish . Note: The Housemaid’s Wedding is a short story meant to fill in the long gap between Book 2 of the Housemaid series ( The Housemaid’s Secret ) and Book 3 ( The Housemaid is Watching ). It can be read either between Book 2 and Book 3 , or after Book 3 . Review: GREAT SHORT READ - The Housemaid’s Wedding was a great, short read and I’m glad it exists as a companion to the series. It was nice to return to these characters without committing to a full book, and the story itself was engaging and easy to get through. While this novella can be read after book three and still make sense, I really think it works best only between book two and book three. The timeline, character dynamics, and emotional beats fit much more naturally there. Reading it later does not ruin anything, but it does lessen the impact since you already know where things end up. Overall, it’s a solid addition to the series and worth reading. Just be mindful of the order if you want the best experience. Review: Sweet, Suspenseful, and Full of Twists - The Housemaid's Wedding is a short yet captivating novella that beautifully blends romance with thriller elements. Centered around the FMC's wedding day, this story is sweet and fun at first glance, but it quickly takes a thrilling turn with Freida McFadden's signature twists. With a mix of suspense, unexpected surprises, and heartwarming moments, this novella keeps you on your toes while still delivering a delightful, feel-good experience. A perfect quick read for those who love romance with a side of mystery!

Short but not so sweet
I like the plot line of the story, but there were some elements that bothered me. SPOILER ALERT: I would've liked the ending better if Enzo didn't immediately attack the attacker. He could've confronted him and if the attacker tried to do something, Enzo could then put his hands on him. But we know Enzo, so of course he wouldn't do that.

All this is happen while the wedding is scheduled four hours away. Enzo helps by getting the dress fixed, but while he is gone she get another call feom the same guy. What else can go wrong? I love that it was a quick read tontell is how they got married. Can't wait to start the last book tomorrow.

A cute short read
It was cute. Getting to read Enzo's epilogue here makes me wish we got to hear more from his perspective in the other books. I do wish that Millie and Enzo spoke to each other about what the each experienced though, to show their true team-spirit I the work they do. But it was a cute short read.

While the premise is gripping, the short story format left me wanting more
⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/5 Stars (Good) Setting: New York City Genre: Short Story; Thriller The Housemaid’s Wedding offers a quick, suspenseful interlude in the twisted world of the Housemaid series. As always, Millie’s life is anything but simple—even on her wedding day. The tension builds from page one, with Freida McFadden’s signature blend of paranoia and plot twists that kept me turning pages. However, while. The pacing felt rushed, and the emotional weight of Millie’s relationship and the threat she faces didn’t have enough space to fully develop. Longtime fans of the series will enjoy revisiting Millie’s world and savoring the breadcrumbs of what’s to come in The Housemaid is Watching, but this story functions more as a bridge than a standalone thrill. If you’re a devoted follower of the Housemaid series, this quick read will scratch the itch between books. But if you’re looking for the deep twists and layered suspense McFadden is known for, you might find this installment a bit too fleeting. #thehousemaidswedding #booked_this_weekend

A GREAT fun little romp for Freida McFadden fans! Does not disappoint.
Spoilers: What a fantastically fun little read!!!! I got truly hooked on The Housemaid series right from the first; they NEVER disappoint! And this little, short story was a fun little romp. There were some great laugh out loud moments: as my wife was reading my copy of The Housemaid, and I was now into this The Housemaid's Wedding, I was reading how Millie was stalking up to her closet, clutching a large butcher knife when Enzo comes home. And she talks about hearing a mouse...!! Her wedding nerves were truly undoing her! (LOL) But yes, Freida McFadden fans should have a lot of fun with this short, fun read.

Save your money on the actual book and read it on kindle or at the library.
Call me crazy but if you’re going to rush this short story out and charge more than .99 cents for it, atleast completely the book. I find it wild that there’s no name on the spine. Most books go on a bookshelf so that left me a little disappointed that the title is not on there. Poor quality as well.

Tolle, spannende Freida short story
Tolle, spannende Freida short story, ideal als Ergänzung. Wie immer ein echter page-turner, nail-biting Story! Kann man nichts falsch machen, außer zu sammeln und pro Woche ein Buch lesen.
