no, I buy this product all the time so I’m always looking for good quality good value for the money. Now quantity just depends on price per ounce and this was perfect because the quality is good too. If you need a reason for healthiness, this is one of the best products out there so easy to use and put it in soups. You can prepare it with warm water and you can add it to your salads or rice or noodles it’s just awesome product. I’ve given it to family members and shared it with friends and coworkers definitely will keep buying this product as long as Amazon has a variety of products to choose from this one. I’m very pleased with and I bought many times many times.

I was really surprised when I received this. I read the reviews looking for dried and salted. Most said this, but still, what if it is not true? I ordered a different brand before saying this and when they arrived, it wasn't dried enough. It rolled up into a ball and chewing was difficult as it was in a wad. So, the contain arrived and I waited a few days to open it. Would it be dried and salted or wadded tough paper feeling? OK, I finally gave in and opened it. I was very happy and surprised. It is dried and crunchy. (Like a potato chip) The flavor was greater than expected and it did not turn into a wad. I reach into it every day and grab a bite or two. Ok, that was a lie. I can eat four or five bites at a grab. So, if you want really dried and salty, this is the brand for you. I highly recommend this seaweed.

Very natural taste. Goes well with any bbq meat as a side dish with vinegar, carrot, cucumber, and sugar.

Wakame dried seaweed i enjoy to eat in my dinner meals, since it has iodine and instead of using salt I prefer wakame dried seaweed, for flavor and just to simply not use salt.

I keep small batches of this, hydrated in bread & butter pickle juice on hand. Healthy & reconstitutes quick! Water works too. A tiny bit makes LOTS. Try 1 teaspoon, dried to see what happens.

Like other reviewers mentioned a little goes a long way. I used 2 teaspoons in my noodles & I enjoyed every piece but I realized 1 teaspoons after soaking for 10 minutes would have been more than enough. It had that umami fresh flavor of the sea as if you just gathered it seaside. I will definitely be buying again and recommending to everyone I know. Can't wait to try it in my own miso soup!
