With that said, I have not been able to use the YunQiDeer Drawing Pencils, which are well packaged in a durable, roll-up pouch, ready to use. at a moment's notice. Since they are packaged so well, I anticipate being able to carry them with me and pulling out a drawing pad (or napkin) whenever/wherever the urge strikes me. Easily packed into a purse, backpack. These are easy to grab and go - meeting any impromptu desire to catch whatever I want to capture during my travels. They appear to be durable, a great value for the money and offers all the necessary tools I need in a nice compact roll. I can highly recommend this, go out and get you some.

**Q: How is this rolled up ?**
A: Roll it to match the snap on the strap

**Q: Are pencils already sharp or do I need a sharpener?**
A: The orange pencils have been sharpened, others are not. There is a pencil knife, you can use it to sharpen the pencils.

**Q: Are the sketching pencils made of graphite or charcoal?**
A: I believe they are graphite

**Q: How do you close it so it's flat vs. rolled up (so you don't end up with that extra snap that doesn't snap everywhere)?**
A: If you’ll notice, the extra snap is on the opposite side. So, I could be wrong, but I *think* it’s so you can make a loop & hang it for easy access, depending on where you’re drawing. At least that’s how I’m using it 😊

With that said, I have not been able to use the YunQiDeer Drawing Pencils, which are well packaged in a durable, roll-up pouch, ready to use. at a moment's notice. Since they are packaged so well, I anticipate being able to carry them with me and pulling out a drawing pad (or napkin) whenever/wherever the urge strikes me. Easily packed into a purse, backpack. These are easy to grab and go - meeting any impromptu desire to catch whatever I want to capture during my travels.
