Excellent option for 2022 Ford Explorer
Easy install on my 2022 Ford Explorer. Perfect fit. Only downside is the rubber grommets inside the locking mechanism are not secured in any way so they fall out and easily become lost. I lost one and reached out to the seller and they promptly sent me a replacement. Excellent customer service.

Works as claimed. It's a great value.
Excellent product. Installs easily and appears high quality. Zero added noise from the rooftop.

Pleasantly surprised
Overall, a really good fit with my GX 460 with the low profile rails. Little concerned about the plastic fading overtime, but I imagine that’s the same with the brand name racks they feel really sturdy considering their advertised at 300 pounds with the stock racks only advertised up to 160 pounds. Really happy with the price considering a set of namebrand racks can cost upwards of $700.

Not bad for knockoffs
Not bad for Knockoffs. they are definitely aluminum and definitely black. The sides that connect to your roof rails are made out of plastic using stainless steel bolts and the connection point between the actual rails and the connector is plastic so there is zero chance of these holding up 300 pounds as advertised but they would probably do pretty well with a single kayak or maybe two lightweight kayaks. They look beautiful once they’re installed but you are not going to be able to put a tent or anything real heavy on top of your SUV with these. Of course, I hadn’t planned on trying to carry a pallet of cement on top of my $80,000 SUV so these should be fine for light weight stuff. The tie down points are plastic so I won’t be using them but there are plenty of other ways to secure a light load. The installation was fairly simple if you read the instructions. It will take you forever if you try to do it without reading the instructions. The Toyota dealer wanted $679 for these two bars so I felt like I did pretty good getting these for $104 for our 2027 Land Cruiser.

Sleek, low profile and durable
Bought these so I can put a cargo hard shell on top of our explorer, so far pretty good, we will be putting it to the test on our road trip. Seems very sturdy and well built, super simple to put together and install. I like the low profile and the wind noise is hardly noticeable with the radio and AC off. It looks pretty sleek too! Easy to move back and forth if needed and it comes with keys for security.

Cheaply made and not worth it!
Broke during first use, and almost caused a wreck. I was less than 5 miles away from my home going 55MPH. This is an extremely cheaply made product! Will be returning, and advise others not to buy!

They can work well with some caveats.
I would not recommend these for long term usage or high value or heavy loads. They attach easy enough but the bars have quite a bit of flex to them. These do not compare to a Thule or Yakima setup. Granted, these are much cheaper, but it's quite obvious the durability and strength is not the same as the other brands. If you're in a jam and need to put a cargo box on the roof for a trip or two these would get the job done. I would not overload the bars. I will say - there was not much added wind noise which is a plus. Overall, they got the job done but I considered their security a few times.

I recommend these roof racks
I ordered this for my 24 equinox and it was super easy to assemble and install with my husband. Moon roof opens with not problem. It went above my expectations very sturdy. Have not put it to use yet.

2023 Explorer - Great price!
Installed this on my 2023 Ford Explorer Timberline. The price was great, so I figured it was worth a shot and so far, I’m impressed. While we haven’t hauled anything with it yet, it feels very sturdy and well-built. Based on the experience so far, I’m giving it 5 stars. Installation was straightforward and quick, about 20 minutes total. There are two bolts per side underneath (four per rail), and the locking mechanism slides out to reveal the long bolt that secures the crossbar to the rail. After seeing how it all comes together, I’d recommend keeping the Allen keys in your vehicle and checking the connections before each trip, just to be safe. This sits up higher than my 2016 Explorer cross bars, but I have yet to find ones that are low profile so this will do. Looking forward to getting hauling our kayaks!

Solid crossbars that make the cargo carrier feel dialed in
I picked these up for our Equinox/Terrain mainly so the cargo carrier could have a permanent, reliable home, and they’ve delivered. The bars feel sturdy once torqued down, and the locking ends give a bit of peace of mind when you leave the vehicle parked with gear up top. I really like the built-in tie-down loops on each bracket—no more digging around for a random hook point or wondering if a strap is going to slip during a long drive. Install was straightforward with the labels and instructions, and once in place they sit low enough that wind noise is minimal at highway speed. The finish looks factory enough that they don’t scream “aftermarket,” just blend in and do the job. Now the carrier lives on these bars with its straps always in the same place, which has made loading up for trips faster and a lot less fiddly.
