Malty Amber Nectar
So delighted to have discovered this delicious & refreshing Premium Ceylon Tea. So much so that Iโve just put in another order for a 3rd box of it. Excellent service, tip top product & safe delivery. Thank you very much.

The real thing
The real brand with wonderful tea leafs giving amazing taste. This reminded me of having the same brand in Kuwait with the family years ago. Pity you do not get such quality in supermarkets anymore.

I like tea...
You can't beat Celyon tea. Would prefer to purchase it in Sri Lanka, but it's a long way to go....

Genuinely delicious!
This tea has quickly become one of my favorite 'house teas' ... teas that I brew on an everyday basis, and in larger quantities than my more finicky Chinese Gong fu or Pu'erh teas. It has a full, rich and mellow flavor, without a hint of bitterness when prepared properly, and leaves a lingering sweetness and feeling of 'freshness' in the mouth and throat; a lovely quality found in certain Pu'erh teas. If you've never experienced this 'freshness' effect, imagine popping a few tic-tacks in your mouth ... it's a similar feeling, but without the awful flavor! This is an effect you can savor between sips, and long after the cup is emptied. Because of this, I enjoy drinking this tea slowly, in smaller cups, to fully enjoy its 'betweeness' :) I usually prepare it using 4 oversize-scoops ( Teavana Perfect Tea Spoon , which is actually 1.5 tsp), in a 700ml Hario Chacha Kyusu Maru Tea Pot, 700ml ) teapot, which has an very large SS infusion basket that gives the loose tea leaves lots of space to expand and spread out ... works out to about 1.3 grams per 100 ml. I enjoy this tea with a bit of ยฝ & ยฝ in it, but you can dress it up any way you like ... milk, sugar, honey ... etc, or straight up if that's your preference. I think this tea tastes best after it cools slightly, but didn't like it so much as iced tea. Diverging a bit for the sake of comparison concerning iced tea, I prefer to use a White Tea such as Fresh Golden Needles White Tea Shipped From Ceylon (4 Oz / 110 Grams) , which oddly enough doesn't taste THAT great hot (eg: compared to a favorite like Bai Mudan), but makes a splendid iced tea using 6 grams of tea, infused 3x in a 500 ml teapot ( Hario Jumping Leaf Tea Pot 500Ml ), poured directly over ice. Because of the extreme temperature variation and change, which a normal glass pitcher wouldn't withstand very long, I use a GROSCHE Atlantis Water and Fruit Infusion Borosilicate Glass Pitcher, 50 oz/1500 ml. BPA and Pthalate free. , with the fruit infuser removed. I hope my review has been helpful to you :)

My Personal Favorite
In my opinion, this is by far the best mass market tea that is available in the United States, and at a very reasonable price. It is available in some Middle Eastern grocery stores in the New York City area for only about $5/box, and is of much higher quality than so-called specialty teas sold at many times the price, and vastly superior to anything in its price range. The price on Amazon is extremely high (about double), but I would gladly pay it if I lived in an area where I could not find it in stores. Extremely rich, malty and full bodied, flowery with broken but large leaves, and doesn't tend to get hazy even when chilled for iced tea. Made by Finlay's (Hong Kong) Sri Lankan unit, this is a product that is simply much better than it needs to be. Note that this is FBOP, better than the BOP that is more commonly available elsewhere (and below the Super OP, which I have never seen in the United States, but which I would buy if it was available here).

Tried it about 7 years ago, and I'll never let it go!
This is my go-to tea leaf for the morning. It's got a rich but mellow earthy taste, fragrant aroma, and a mild tannin finish. It's a dark leaf tea, so expect it to have a fair to moderate level of caffeine--not a before-bed tea (try Chamomile for that). My wife and I blend this with dry mint, dry whole sage, cinnamon bark, and dry whole chamomile flowers for a truly delicious morning-to-afternoon tea. I suggest a good teaspoon of honey for every 8 oz of tea--sugar works too, but good raw-unfiltered honey is the only way to go IMO! The only downside is that I can purchase this tea for about half of the Amazon price at a local vendor now. But if you cannot find it near you, this is the best price I found on the web, so it's still a good value!
