Excellent product...would buy again

This game is the very opposite of user friendly, I bought it for my dad and he couldn't fathom the controls, neither could I with ease.

There have been a lot of complaints about this golf game, but if you have the right controller it plays just fine.If you want to play using a mouse then it is just ultra difficult and you do not have access to many of the advanced game features and better camera views that make the game easier and more enjoyable.Plug in a controller and you get a much better experience which is really what you need to get the most out of this game. Unfortunately due to an oversight by the programmers (which have long ceased trading so no chance of updates to fix) you cannot program a standard controller (I used a PS2 controller with PC adapter initially). The majority of buttons will work but with my PS2 controller the start button did not work meaning you can't pause mid game to leave. A further problem is that if you use a controller that has this problem there is no keyboard button that can be used to pause the game. A number have complained about this.Plug in an XBOX 360 controller however which this game has native support for and your problem is solved! And if the commentary, which is admittedly not the best, gets on your nerves just turn it down! At this price on PC (less than £2 when purchased) and with the right controller you get a fun and challenging golf game. Good golf games are bit of a rarity on the PC unfortunately these days.

I fear I cannot rate this item as I was unable to make it load on either my desk top, running XP or my laptop running Vista. I didn't return it as at the buying price it didn't seem worth it. It might be a perfectly good item, I just couldn't get it to load.

Déçu je m'attendais à un jeu facile à jouer pour débutant, il n'en est rien, tous les swings sont courbes avec des effets qui vous envois systématiquement dans le ruff ou sous les arbres dont il est pratiquement impossible de sortir.Une aide insignifiante sous forme de vidéos traduites en temps réel par dessus la voie de John Dally mais trop rapides et limite incompréensible.Un jeu bon pour un joueur du niveau de Tiger Woods, mais pas pour un débutant.Bref rien qui puisse donner l'envie de golfer.Dommage.

Schöne Grafik, die Steuerung ist einfach, mit ein bisschen Übung gelingen gute Schläge. Läuft völlig ruckelfrei auf Win7 HomePremium (Prozessor AMD Quadcore). Ein ganz kleiner Nachteil ist, dass man sich die Strecke nur bis zum weitesten Schlagpunktmit dem Driver (ca. 264 yd) ansehen kann, bei älteren Pro-Stroke Versionen konnte man den gesamten Kurs bis zum Holebesichtigen. Es gibt zwar bei jedem Loch vorher ein Übersichtsvideo, aber schöner wäre eine wählbare Übersicht, um die Platzierung des ersten Schlages, speziell bei Kurven im Kurs, für die weiteren Schläge besser vornehmen zu können, ist aber nur ein kleiner Nachteil. Ein großer Vorteil ist das Schnellspiel - man braucht sich die einzelnen Plätze nicht erst erarbeiten, sondern kann alle Kurse nach belieben durchspielen. Auch können mehrere Spieler gegeneinander Spielen. Lustig für die interessiertenFamilienmitglieder.Die Meisterschaft habe ich noch nicht gespielt, bin noch im Schnellspiel, kann also dazu noch nichts sagen. Mal sehen, wieschwer dann die Gegner sind.Es ist jedenfalls absolut empfehlenswert und um diesen Preis ein absolutes Schnäppchen, da man im Handel für den PCfast nirgends mehr Golf-Simulationen erhält.

Das Golfspiel ist nicht schlecht aber nach meiner Meiner Meinung sehr gewöhnungs bedürftig ich habe vor etlichen Jahren mal eines gekauft und das war sehr gut nur leider kann man es nirgend wo mehr bekommen für die neueren Computer Systeme.

leider muß ich meinem Vorredner Recht geben. Das Spiel läßt sich nicht unter XP installieren und dementsprechend auch nicht spielen. ich bin deswegen sehr enttäuscht. Wenn auf der Verpackung drauf steht XP, Vista und Windows 7 dann sollte das spiel auch auf diesen Betriebsebenen laufen und installiert werden können. Somit ist dieses Spiel nicht zu empfehlen. Der Hersteller sollte vielleicht mal klären, und angeben auf welchen Ebenen das Ding überhaupt noch lauffähig ist.
