The faux leather straps are nicely sewn and sturdywhile being the perfect width for a bag of it's size. The weaving ofthe bag creates a smooth exterior that is not prickly and splinter like similar bags. The bow fastineris weaved into the bag, so you will not have to worry about it coming off like bags that use glue.The interior is a white faberic that extends on the sides so you can easily open the bag from the topinstead of placeing it sideways to avoid your stuff falling out. This bag can hold all of my dailyessantials without being too big and bulky. By the way, I don't think they were lying when they said"smoked over coconut husks and properly sun-dried." because desipte them also saying that it hasno smell, it does have a bit of a smell. But a good one. I love it. I probably look weird smelling it.Now the things that can be improved are as follows. I would like to see a shortener on the strapso you can re-adjust the length if desired. I also think it would be beneficical to have a couple ofsmall magnets on the bag to help pull the bag closed easier. As per astectics, I would like to seeless material inside the bag. Near the back of the bag where both sides are connected, there is abit of an excess of material that does not stretch out, therefore making it unnecessary. The strap is the perfect length for me. I'm 5'4" and can use it crossbody or on the shoulder.Small bags are usually too small. I tend to only carry essentials, but small bags purchased in the past were restrictive in room. This rattan bag has surprisingly ample room. It looked small at first, but I had no trouble fitting my phone, change purse/ card holder, keys, lipstick, BB cream, eyeshadow, mascara and liner, and sunglasses into it. Plus, I don't have to worry about breaking my sunglasses at all or them getting scratched.Extremely happy and pleasantly surprised I could fit so much into it. When it is closed it looks so compact. It even fits under the seat of my car. No more bag on the passenger seat or on the floorboard. The liner helps keep everything in place and secure. When I open it I can easily find items I'm looking for - minimal shifting of things inside. The closure is well-made and there's no worry of it coming open suddenly or breaking. The exterior is smooth and not splintery or abrasive. The rattan on the outside is VERY sturdy and the closing is very secure, not flimsy at all. The white lining on the inside has a couple of dark spots on the inside. And because it's white, it shows. Also the lining when is opened is not even. When you open it, one side is more tight while the other side has 'slack'. Not sure if I got a defect or if I should just order another one due to the lining being white. It nvr occurred to me that the white lining could show everything easily, lint, any makeup that you get on it. The white looks so refreshing and summery though!
