This little gadget Saved My Phone!
I've had my iPhone 4s since it came out and the battery didn't have much life left in it. The charge would go from 100% to 30% in a day without use, and always seemed to die at the most inopportune times! It has also become difficult to find the wide chargers that fit the older iPhones. I was looking into getting a new battery for the phone but they cost $50, and I figured for that price I should just buy a new phone.. I saw the Mophie Juice Pack (for only $12.90) and decided to give it a try. This little gadget has saved my phone! It not only allows me to have a fully charged backup battery attached to the phone, but I can also use micro usb chargers to deliver the charge instead of having to special order the older chargers. The case itself is nice, not too bulky, but has a good heft to it. I am over the moon with this purchase! I no longer have to worry about my battery dying halfway through the day and it cost me a fraction of the price of a new battery/phone! I would definitely recommend this product!!

Good Battery, room for improvement in package!
Battery power is adequate and stays chargedfor days when in stand by mode. This is on the 👍🏽 Side. On the other hand, the first time I plugged the provided cable to the charging port, I was surprised how loose the fit was. With time, it became worse and now , after trying many many cables, I have only one charging cable that will stay plugged in the charging port during the charging operation, and it is not the original one. My other concern is the choice of a mechanical switch to toggle between charge/standby. It is confusing sometimes to remember which position you left the switch on, (especially in the dark) and what is the state of charge of the auxiliary battery. I have seen battery cases with electronic switch and charge indicator work way more seamlessly. While the battery itself is a good one, there is lot of room for improvement in the harware and the design of this battery case.

Works Well and Easy to Use
I have been waiting patiently for Apple to introduce an iPhone with truly innovative features, like a pencil or projector, so in the meantime I have been hanging on to my old 4S. The only problem is it has lost its ability to hold a charge. This juice pack extends the battery life by ten hours, which means I don't have to recharge during the work day. It is super easy to use and doesn't create "bugs" in the phone like some non-Apple chargers. I ordered an extra one so I always have one charged and ready to go.

Triples life of my phone battery (at least)
I own an I-phone 6s. In its prime I could go for about 1 day on a charge. Now it's closer to a half day and perhaps less. With this mophie battery I'm pretty sure I could go 2 or 3 days without a charge. It is slightly annoying as I have to press the charge button on the battery every once in a while, but that is much less of a hassle than trying to get a new battery from Apple--and also that new Apple battery probably wouldn't last nearly as long per charge.

love the case, could use some improvements in design
I have had my white mophie juice plus case for about 2 months now. Overall, happy with the product, nice to have extra battery power when you need it. However I feel there could be some design improvements....PROS: good feel in the hand, feels solid and looks sleek. Recessed well in the back protects the camera lens. Speaker sounds good, sounds are "fuller". Indicator lights on the bottom show how much power you have left in reserve. Haven't had a problem with charging the unit. I usually charge it when I get home, and it's ready in the morning. Nice not to have to carry a separate battery pack.CONS: as with other reviews, mine developed a crack in the lower right hand corner, same side as where the micro usb charging port is at (maybe a design flaw??) The charging port itself is located on a rounded corner, so the usb cable is flush with the case at the top, but not at the bottom. Having the micro usb charging port out of the side makes it tougher to find a phone holder that hides the cable (for aesthetic reasons) if you want to charge with the case on. You will need to take the bottom case off to use it on conventional docking stations/clocks for charging. Also, the unit does get hot when it is using the reserve power. One other con is the headphone jack. The case is thick and has a narrow oval opening for the jack, and the regular headphone jack will not fit flush with the unit anymore. Will need to find a jack with a narrower profile to fit inside that narrow oval opening. I have had to remove the top cover if I wanted to use the headphone jack.

Newly designed Mophie Case is very bad design indeed
The original Mophie case for the Iphone 4S was awesome as the case separated above the center point and would never come apart no matter how many times you dropped your phone, threw it (by accident) or whatever... It was the best thing ever made for protecting and powering your phone. BUT they changed the case now and it separates at the bottom and literally falls off just about... everytime you plug in/out your cable, beware it will pull off the bottom of the mophie case (the power source). Unreal and stinks. I am very very dissatisfied with this new case. I thought it was the original one I had bought two years ago (yes it lasted about that long but the power button on the side finally started flipping out after so many hits to the ground) That switch to turn on/off the juice is actually in a bad spot on both versions of this case, as it is on the bottom left corner so if you drop your phone and it hits that corner... your just asking for the switch to go faulty and stop working right or at all (like it finally did for me). Bottom line, new design of this stinks bad!

Excellent
To many phone owners, Mophie’s Juice Packs are the standard when it comes to handset battery cases. No, Mophie isn’t the only company in this market, but over the past few years, its Juice Pack line has become popular. To use the case, you slide off the top section, insert your iPhone into the case, ensure that the Lightning port at the bottom of your iPhone aligns with the Juice Pack’s connector, and replace the case top. It’s a snug fit.On the back of the Juice Pack is a switch: Slide it from red to green and the case battery will charge your iPhone’s battery. Slide it back and you save the juice inside the case for later. When charging the Juice Pack with a microUSB cable, it first charges your iPhone — using the Lighting port as a power pass-through — and then smartly charges the internal case battery. Pressing a button on the back of the Juice Pack shows how much power is left in the case via four LED lights.

Works well but materials need improvement
This provides a decent amount of extra power to your iPhone - I was getting about 4 days in total (starting with the internal battery fully charged) - not with heavy use but not with very light use either. Obviously it adds some bulk to your phone but that wasn't a problem for me. The issue I had was with the plastic of the case de-laminating. Whilst this obviously doesn't affect the main function of this case, I like well made products that last well and are made with high quality materials. Scratching would be fine - that's to be expected from something you carry around all day every day but peeling plastic - not good!

Good battery, poor build quality
Had the Mophie Juice Pack Plus for a month now, I bought it mainly to extend the battery life of my iPhone while using GPS training apps.Bit of a mixed review, the battery life is great and I would say it very nearly if not doubles the life of my 4S. The extra weight is easy to cope with. However the build quality is pretty lacking. For example the plastic that holds the volume control has started to come away from the main case and what looks like double sided tape is being exposed. Also the case does not appear to clip together correctly at the sides and leaves quite a gap which allows dust/lint/dirt into the back of the case. And lastly the rubber coating is starting to peal away exposing the shiny plastic underneath. The phone has only ever been in and out of my jeans pocket and in a snug pocket in my rucksack, it has not had a hard life in one month! I expected better quality.

When it works it works well but with problems and unreliability
When it works its fine but my second one is on its way back 4 months after I bought the first one. The switch packed up on the first one after 2 months use. The second is working sort of but it frequently fails to charge the phone overnight so I've been getting up to a fully charged battery pack and a flat phone on quite a few occasions. The power socket could do with a better design too. Its part way round a curved piece of the case which gets in the way of the body of the mini-USB plug. Most cables you can only insecurely lodge the tip of the plug in the socket which is very unreliable. The Mophie supplied cable is better but still doesn't allow the plug to go securely home. I've taken another cable and used a craft knife on it to shave the plug body and that one is now able to plug in properly and securely. But surely someone looked at this in the design phase. With all those negatives though, when it does work it works well and is a nice feel and build. Just let down by reliability and lack of attention to detail in the design..

I loved this for some time
I loved this for some time. Compared to the price of the iPhone inside, the battery was good value although I only got one year's use. Some stupidly poor fixings inside can let the battery get loose which strains the fixings. Mine broke, I repaired, it worked. It broke again and I returned to the more beautiful world of internal short battery life.It is very robust and provides a lot of protection. It allows charging of itself and your phone at the same time. As far as I can tell it's the best in class. It's rather a good idea if you are trekking or cycling and want the GPS and maps going a long time. But for urban use, its valiant attempt just is not elegant apple design.
