Does it work the same, if put in a fruit/veggie smoothie

I take it with a digestive health product in the morning, followed by a glass of water. I believe I heard that it works best if not taken with food. Is a shake okay? Probably, but maybe better absorption without it? Bur, I'm just a user of the product, not an expert.

Are any of the ingredients in this product from china? are all components from us?

No China, they do have other countries (new Zealand, Australia & the U.K., but China is not one of them. My container states it was made in the USA. Hope that helps.
