HG extreme power cleaner (super remover) (HG product 20) is a professional, extremely powerful cleaner for the removal of truly stubborn staining and difficult (old) wax, polish and other protective films on floor tiles, flagstones and all types of natural stone.Dissolve half a litre in half a bucket (5 l) of lukewarm water and apply generously to the floor surface with a floor cloth or mop. Do not treat more than 10 to 15 m2 at once. Then scrub the surface well with a scrubbing (brush), leave to penetrate for a few minutes and then scrub well again. Now remove the solution from the surface using a mop. Finally, mop the floor again with clean water. 1 litre is enough for 35-100 square metres of floor area, depending on how dirty the floor is. Review: This cleaner works extremely well. I used the HG Heavy Duty Tile & Grout Cleaner on bathroom grout with heavy buildup, and it noticeably brightened the grout after just one use. It’s very powerful, so only a small amount is needed, and it lifts dirt quickly with minimal scrubbing. The scent is strong, but that’s expected for a heavy-duty product. With proper ventilation, it’s easy to use and delivers excellent results. Great choice for deep cleaning tile and grout that need a serious refresh. Review: Cleaned my floor tiles great

I've been using this product for a while and it is excellent at getting my kitchen floor tiles clean. It transforms them especially when the grand children/cat have come in and out of the garden. But it's v hard work! Some tips: if your floor isn't too dreadfully filthy then use half the amount of the cleaning fluid. This saves money and helps with the rinsing process which can be long and laborious. I find going over the floor with a clean dry micro porous cloth at the end helps to mop up any remaining foam and means you don't get white streaks. When you've finished treat yourself to a nice drink and a large piece of cake!

This product was amazing and did exactly what it promises to do (again, I'm an idiot and can't upload photos) but believe me when I say it brought the scummiest bathroom grout which I thought was a browny grey back to actual black!! Even the tiles look new!! My only warning is the bottle. I decanted my first batch into a spray bottle so I could use it near, when I ran out I tried to open the child locked cap to decant more but I couldn't open it. Every time I tried to push the lid down to unscrew it, the bottle bent and after much fuss I eventually had to cut the bottle open to get the rest. This is not ideal as it's now in a bottle that isn't the original and while it's totally safe in my home it may not be safe in others. So beware! Also, it burned my skin. I wore gloves and somehow got a hole in the finger so just took them off. And although I washed my hands afterwards, thoroughly, it kept slowly burning my skin to the point of small blisters appearing and I had to get treatment at the local health centre. This is just my experience of using this product.

We have a quarry tile floor which was laid in such a manner that the grout in between the tiles is recessed and therefore is a constant trap for grime. Plus the person who installed the tiles used a wax coating on the tiles, most of which I had removed a couple of years ago: this product removed whatever remained with ease. Might I suggest that whilst this product is very good, that you should proceed with caution when using it. It is quite caustic and thankfully I heeded the advice of two excellent reviewers and used masking tape to prevent damage to our kitchen furniture. Any splashes May damage paint/waxed surfaces. Having treated the whole floor following the manufacturer’s instructions, I scrubbed the whole floor and ensured that the surface of each tile was effectively treated, it was them a simple task removing the solution and the tiles themselves were pretty clean - I rinsed the floor three time. Unfortunately the grout remained quite soiled and therefore I followed Cleghorn’s advice and prepared a quantity of solution in a spray bottle and specifically targeted the grout; which not only ensures it reduces the amount that you need, it makes it easier to apply. I also purchased some brushes which fit onto an electric drill which are far easier and more effective than using a scrubbing brush. Brilliant product.
