The infusers came from 2 different places and at separate times. This particular one arrived without the fitted box for storage purposes that the other one came in and the plastic wrap around this one, unlike the other, had been opened and retaped up. This one is not new and a returned or refurbished infuser. It did arrive 4 days earlier than expected so I gave it an extra star. OK. This is an update. The seller responded and is going to fix the issue. They stand by their products! The issue was actually with the carrier as they damaged the boxes and reboxed not doing a good job. I really like the Drinkmate and with the extra accessory will not be without its use when and if the original infuser wears out. The Drinkmate seems to have cleared up a mucus problem I had in just 3 days. I had to clear my throat a lot and contributed it to being 73. I don't have to clear anymore. I've used the other brand since they started the company. However, the Drink Mate makes carbonated drinks much more easily for me, more fizzy products and VERY easy to re-fizz drinks that have gone flat and lost their fizz. That, alone, is worth it! It takes just a minute to learn how to use it, and I am thrilled with my purchase!
