Be sure to read the sizing. I got an XXL which is only 37.5 inches and will fit on your upper waist. Its is 95% cotton and 5% spandex but with zero stretch to it. I hand washed it, hang dry because I was worried about shrinkage. Ironed well. Love the pockets.
