These large salt flakes look elegant as a finishing touch on food. It doesn't have that sharp, harsh saltiness you get from regular table salt — it's mild, and you can tell it's rich in minerals. As for the salt itself, I'd give it 5 stars, but I'm knocking off 1 star because the paper container arrived crushed.

Love the crunch of the salt, the baggy isn't resealable so be careful but absolutely worth it. Smaller sizes dont have as big of flakes but definitely still has some decent size flakes when you get further into the bag.

Have been buying Maldon for years but heard recently, data showed it is apparently one of the cleanest salts...containing lowest levels of metals etc compared to many others.. incl the trending celtic ones.. and it's delicious so sticking with this - good price here too..
