Review: Great when looking at the end goal - Anyone looking to buy this figure is doing so to build Devastator. As a standalone figure, it definitely has its shortcomings. Size of the figure is small and chunky. Easy to transform between modes. Quality of the plastic is great and joints are strong and they have to be when it comes to being combined. Has very good articulation, but the figure itself is compromised in favor of forming Devastator. I really wish they included more plastic with this figure for it's price. More accessories or effect pieces would be nice.Overall, still very happy with the figure.
Review: A Huge Quality Upgrade on the Previous Model - So very cool! This edition may be smaller than the previous edition (circa 2016-17), but it is way more solidly built, and when it’s in combiner-mode, it does NOT break apart. This means a much more usable Devastator! My son likes to transform these a lot and the previous versions would break under that kind of pressure, over time. These seem made for the person who enjoys constantly transforming them. Love the redesign and quality, Hasbro! Keep up the outstanding work!

Anyone looking to buy this figure is doing so to build Devastator. As a standalone figure, it definitely has its shortcomings. Size of the figure is small and chunky. Easy to transform between modes. Quality of the plastic is great and joints are strong and they have to be when it comes to being combined.
