A: While many of our competitors use toxic chemical fire retardants, we do not. Instead, we use a layer of viscose material sewn into our cover. Viscose material is made from reconstituted wood pulp and is chemical free.

**Q: Is the mattress comfortable for my child?**
A: Our Kids' mattress is made with the same technology and comfort that Newton is known for in our crib mattresses. Many parents tell us their little ones start sleeping better from the first night, and we couldn’t be happier.

**Q: Can I lay on this with my child?**
A: This mattress is specifically designed for kids up to 100lbs. We don’t recommend that adults sleep on the mattress as it could impact the integrity of our patented Wovenaire core.

**Q: What sheets should I use?**
A: We recommend using a cotton sheet for the most comfortable and breathable sleep for your child. Because our mattress is 5.5" thick, it's best to find sheets with an 8" pocket to fit snugly on the mattress.

I was very excited that Newton has a twin version of their mattresses since I liked the crib one. It is firm, which is what I was looking for. However, the first order was dirty and the woven core has deep dents. The second order came with dead bugs in the woven core. Extremely disappointed, especially after waiting a while for shipping!
