I buy this because most probiotics prefer glucose over any other sugar. Take Lactobasillus Reuteri. Its favorite sugar is glucose and it can not metabolize fructose. I feed this to probiotics when I ferment them in mango puree. I have worried this product could contain glyphosate, but I am able to use it for fermenting.

I have never used powdered glucose before- but needed it to add to some tea to give my mom with liver failure. Since glucose is not broken down in the liver but rather the stomach & intestines, it is one of the few caloric things she can ingest without problems. It has been a literal lifesaver for my mom. It dissolves instantly in hot tea & she likes the sweetness level. It is in a fine powder form and isn’t caky or clumpy. Overall very pleased with this product- only downside is it is on the pricy side. Totally worth it for her though. Thanks!

I used 50g of this in water for my gestational diabetes test during my pregnancy. They drink they give you had a lot of added dyes and ingredients i didn't want to introduce to my body.

My husband does not digest fermentable sugars well and we had gradually reduced his sugar intake to the point where he was having trouble with low blood sugar, especially in the mornings. This product is perfect because it is pure glucose and so easy on the gut (unlike glucose syrups, which also often contain maltose and other sugars) and is in a power form that makes it easy to bake with like table sugar. Very happy with it.

Excellent substitute for Fructose based sugar. I know it is for making frosting. However, it is great many more things. I especially love how it is not sicking sweet. Use it how you think it should be used. But for me, including a change in diet (no corn, wheat, and tomato/potato), I no longer feel like I am starving after eating a normal amount of calories. I absolutely love this.
