Seemed a bit weak but just needed them for the car when my van was off the road. Actually really good I’ve had heavy ladders on them and even garden sleepers with no bending or sliding in fact no problems At all easy to fit and remove so on the whole very pleased wit a cheap pair of roof bars

Arrived quickly, not to bad to fit only thing let them down we needed them for Ford Kuga 2023 fit perfectly rear middle area but front is an 1 inch wider so can not move them Infront of the front door pillar and the next size is to big good sturdy construction and solid once fitted worth there money we only need them for our top box and there more than adequate for that and in the correct position it's just if you need longer loads and need bars further forward they would not work

This product looks sturdy but is definitely not. Could not tighten it up enough on the ratchet to make it safe enough to use. Wouldn’t use it carry anything on as it slips and moves. I would advise you pay more and get good quality from a recognised brand.

3 STARS (instead of 1) because these look to be well made and fairly solid. However: they don't look secure enough on my Skoda Octavia due to the angle of the roof overhang where they grip, and also they fold the weather sealing strip back when the door is closed which makes the door leaky. The 3 stars is also earned for giving a prompt refund and collection.

Bought for an Audi A6 Avant. Got the smaller size of the three & adjustability is perfect. Had six sheets of 18mm ply 8’ x 4’ on them for about twelve miles. No issues very solid bars & well made. The black bars go really well with the car. Very impressed. Look a better match than the genuine Audi ones do & perform just as well. Definitely recommend these to keep the cost down instead of buying Dealer only bars which cost six to seven times more.

I had to modify (cut) these to fit on my car, I kind of knew they are too long for my car and had to cut them. So you may ask why I did buy them if I knew I had to modify them! I bought these because they were very good price and so I thought it’s worth the extra work if I’m buying them cheap. They could have been design better so they can fit any cars and don’t need cutting. Also when they are fitted on the roof, I don’t have full confidence they may not come off if I drive faster on the road.

Having read a few of the negative reviews, and discounting them as they were very likely down to user error. I’m very glad i did! A few of the reviewers have certainly fitted the bars incorrectly, one even took a picture of their error which can be clearly seen. I fitted them to my 2022 Volvo XC40 recharge and they are perfect for the car, but please pay very close attention to the instructions which are not the best, but with a little common sense you’ll figure it out. Better than bars double the price
