After an eventful evening, the corndogs came out tasting delicious. The texture stayed soft so there was no crunchy exterior. The batter did not stick at all to the dusted hotdogs, so I smashed it on and once the dusting flour melted into the batter it did stick. It was laborous and time consuming to wrao each hotdog in batter. At the end, I was able to smooth down the rough exterior. After corndogs, I mixed dairy free milk in the batter with extra salt and made onion rings with a very pub style breading. Those were also delicious. I would give 5 stars, but the directions did me wrong with telling me to dust the dogs. The dogs do not in fact need to be dusted. I've tried many horrible mixes and had my trepidations ordering this blindly from the internet. I'd say it deserves a 4.6/5 stars.

Mix was not mixed in bag, the corn meal potion had corn grain that had not been ground. When mixed per directions it was lumpy and did not adhere to the hot dog. you had to put in hand and mash to the hot dog. a complete waste of $14.00 cost of bag and cost of shipping together. will not buy again Giving it a one star because review would not let me give it anything lower than 1 maybe give it a minus one
