Works great. Male or female, it's amazing to keep your hair moisturized all day. While your hair is still damp from the shower, rub it in and then continue your routine as normal. You can also rub what's leftover on your hands into your eyebrows to keep them from getting dry in colder months.No greasiness feeling at all during the day, just dry your hands after use and you're good to go. No fragrance, so won't affect whatever scent you use everyday.

So far, so good with this castor oil. I searched rather extensively for a Jamaican Black Castor Oil product that I felt confident about its purity and organic nature, as that is my family's lifestyle, endeavoring to use holistic, organic/chemical-free products, foods, etc. The size is a good value for the price in my view. It's packaged in a dark amber glass bottle with a pump included, which is also my preference over plastic bottles.This oil is very thick and viscous, it has an herbal/medicinal smell and freshness, just as castor oil should. The color is also quite dark amber-ish brown, compared to regular castor oil - I've read that is from the increased ash content which thereby increases its medicinal qualities. The oil dispenses easily from the bottle/pump, no leaking or dripping, and it applies to the skin nicely -- bearing in mind how thick this oil is, and that it takes an hour or so to fully absorb into the skin (in my experience with it, based upon the amount I typically apply).I use this for my facial skin to boost moisturization, layered on top of my other serums as a last step. I believe it does aid in reducing fine lines because of the intense moisturization - when used regularly as a skincare staple. The thick viscosity does make it naturally more occlusive than other biological oils like Jojoba for instance, so that is to be considered for those with acne-prone skin. I also use this as a hot oil treatment on my hair, as well as my stomach/back with a heating pad...I find it really boosts my digestion and I just enjoy the treatment. This Jamaican Black Castor Oil has been quite strong and effective in my experience thus far (love that!), and overall I really like the quality and will continue purchasing it.

This oil is really good. I use it as a pre-shampoo treatment. It leaves my hair very hydrated and strong. Since I started using it, my frizz has decreased by 80%. I love it!

I've used a lot of castor oils on my skin but this castor oil left my skin feeling silky smooth. The only drawback is, when you first apply it there is a mild smoke smell. I thought someone was smoking in my house. I stepped out of my bathroom and followed the smoke smell. I then remembered that I had just applied the Jamaican Black Castor Oil. I smelled my arm and realized my arm smelled like a cigarette. This smell went completely away in about 5 minutes. I feel that is a small price to pay for such a wonderful product. I will purchase this again. The smell is a sign of an authentic cold press castor oil.

I just received this product yesterday. I have terribly dry skin. lotions only work for about 5 minutes. I originally bought this for my hair, but I'm using it on my body too and it is great so far. I had a little trouble getting the plunger to pop out. I would suggest that you hold the plunger unit and turn the spout to get the plunger out. I made the mistake of putting the unit into the bottle before trying to open the plunger. The ingredients list only show one item. It is thick and it takes a little effort to rub it into your skin.
