I personally don’t think you’ll be sorry with this purchase well worth the money
This has to by far be one of the best pressure cookers I’ve ever purchased and believe me I’ve had a number of them over the years. I got the 1.6 L because I live alone and I loved it so much that I just ordered the 2.6 so I could do a slightly larger meal. I will definitely be looking into an even larger one to make multiple meals in. What I love about it is it heats up quick on a very low heat and it cooks really quick as well. The cover is a little tricky, but once you get used to it, it’s not a problem.

No burning of food
This is the perfect cooker anyone could have. My primary concerns were 1. Food Burning at the bottom while cooking 2. Heat not dissipating evenly throughout These are addressed in this cooker. So m happy with using it.

Great pressure cooker
The Hawkins 3.5 Litre Triply Stainless Steel Pressure Cooker (Inner Lid, Silver, HSST35) is a premium, versatile kitchen appliance that balances modern triply construction with traditional, safe inner-lid design. Ideal for medium-sized families (4-5 people), it offers excellent heat distribution and high durability.

Lid requires way too much tension to lock closed on the 3.5 litre (3.7 quart) model.
This is my 3rd Hawkins pressure cooker: HSS20, HSS3W, and this HSST35. HSS20 and HSS3W have more-or-less straight vertical side walls, whereas HSST35 has slanted side walls, because it is wider at the top than at the bottom. HSS3W and HSST35 use the same lids. I compared them side by side, and tried installing them onto each bodies. They're the same. The slanted side wall on the HSST35 causes the body handle attached to it to slant downward, compared to the other models with straight walls. This leads to the end of the body handle to be further away from the lid handle. Since the rest of the cooker is identical (body handles, lids, lid handles) and even manufactured identically (probably automated manufacturing), locking the lid on the HSST35 model takes a lot more force and bending of the tension bar. See attached image. If you only own a HSST35 model, you might think this is normal, but it's not. I have three of their pressure cookers at this point, and HSST35 is the only one with this problem. Remember. When under cooking pressure, the pressure itself will keep the lid closed. Tension from the handle bar is irrelevant. So there's no reason to bend the tension bar so much to close the lid. If this wasn't true, how do you explain the low tension required on pressure cooker models other than HSST35? I lopped little bit off the top of the leveraging post to account for this mis-engineering. They could've avoided this problem with any one of many changes. They could've changed the body handle angle upwards. They could've changed the lid so the center post is taller. They could've even made the locking ring bigger on the lid handle. All so simple, but no. I guess they just can't think things through.

Not that Great ! ! !
The delivery was prompt ! The product by Hawkins isn’t that great as the main reason I bought this was there should be A uniform heat distribution while using . But the base does get heat burn n scotch marks post the cooking session . It is better than the satilon coated Hard anodised one Pressure cooker as the coating Doesn’t wear off . But it cannot be considered an A++ Product by Hawkins . There are others in the market which are more durable n sturdy n able to take the brunt of high heat cooking . The material too isnt that strong . I have bought this but wouldn’t advise others to go for it !

Good Product 👍
The Hawkins Tri-Ply 4.5-liter cooker is excellent; it cooks food quickly and works instantly on induction cooktops. The quality is very good, but when cooking lentils—such as moong dal foam spills out of the cooker, which I do not like.
