This tent is nice. I actually use it as a smoking tent..it does take more than one person to assemble..one has to hold it while you pull sides to pop out. Comes with very study strong stakes. They are metal and heavy duty. The day I put it up we had a nasty storm with strong winds and it stayed put. Its not as big inside as they say but it works for me.

I can't believe how quickly this thing came- I ordered it late Sunday night, and I had it in hand on Wednesday (Friday was Christmas, I had no hope of getting it in time to put under the tree, but it happened!) I was VERY impressed with the quality of the tent- we took it out the day after Christmas, and it's sturdy, heavy-duty design kept us very warm despite heavy winds. I really like the design, with the large windows for light, the ventilation, and the curved zipper- it's very well designed and manufactured. I would highly recommend this tent for ice fishing, I can't believe the quality for what I paid!

Overall, I am pretty satisfied with it. It's quite sturdy in windy conditions and does well if the side guy lines are out and staked down. It only comes with 2 guy lines and six stakes, so getting extras is a good idea. The stakes dig into the ice easily, but I bought a drill attachment to do the work for me.It has velcro shades for letting in light and removable clear plastic windows for air circulation. I was quite happy with those features. I would recommend using seam sealer and spraying Scotch Guard on it for additional weather proofing.Although it says 1-2 people, that is in tent measurement. 2 people will very close and there isn't a lot of room for gear. There's only one way to properly set up this tent and take it down. I strongly advise practicing before you take it out to use.The first one that I ordered had a tear in the roof. It was replaced with no headaches or hassles.

Set up is really a 2 person process. After the initial set up 1 person can do it but it is easier with 2. The quality of materials is very good the material is thicker than some competitors. I used it in below 0 and 35 degree temps with 20 - 30 mph gusts. The ice anchors provided in the very nice storage case, work well they are very aggressive and go into the ice quickly and hold well. When temps are low just having the vent on the windward side and open worked well. With a propane heater having the window open slightly on the down wind side would be advised. Folding up is tricky the first time but is much easier the second attempt. We fished with 3 200 lb guys which wasn't overly crowded, but we have hunted, fished and bush whacked together for years. Packing snow along the skirt as the instructions advise allowed 0 wind to come into the tent during the 20-30 mph gusts. It is a quality product and I wouldn't hesitate to buy the tent again in 20 years or so when this one wears out.

I absolutely LOVED this shelter.... except for the size & the breakdown was changeling, I could live with the breakdown and get the hang of it. The "HUB" is the "CENTER MEASURMENT" and not the floor. I was disappointed, that needs to be clearer in the description or maybe a simple diagram "See Attached". I needed something over 6 foot long like in the description 76" X 76" and the floor on this was barely 60" X 60" that's a big -16" X -16" difference. I'm also not happy about the restocking FEE I was charged.
