Women's Tapestry Crossbody Cell Phone or Passport Purse, Handmade in USA

I've been searching (in vain until now) to find a small cloth bag for my cell phone that could also accommodate a few other essentials (driver's license/ID, a couple credit cards, cash etc) that I could wear over my shoulder or cross-body. Women's clothing generally doesn't have pockets or they are too small for toting a cell phone. Even when there is a pocket on the back of your jeans, a cell phone can make your rear look bigger, & who wants that? This is a beautifully made cloth bag that meets my needs very well. There are two compartments: I carry my Samsung Galaxy S8 phone & case in the front open or 'drop' pocket so it's easy to retrieve; this pocket is good sized & could easily accommodate a larger phone. The back pocket is a bit taller (deeper) & has a zipper closure & can accommodate several items. The fabric is stunning & the stitching is well done (no loose threads etc). The long 1/2" wide nylon strap enables you to carry the bag either as a shoulder bag or extended to wear cross-body style (my preference when out & about). The strap is affixed via removable swivel hooks (very convenient) attached at the top of the bag through two layers of fabric, via grommets, so there should be no issue with tearing the fabric. This is a perfect little bag for carrying my cell phone around the house (no more setting my phone down & then walking away from it) & I can put my DL, a credit card or two & cash in the second, zippered compartment & head to the store. I'm so very happy with this bag. Thank you Danny K!! PS: I was at a local craft fair today & stopped at one of the vendor stalls to look at their cloth bags & was surprised to find this same bag (& in the same fabric as mine!). I was speaking with the vendor & telling him how I had just received my bag & how perfect it was & that I planned to buy some for my daughters-in-law & granddaughter. Imagine my surprise when I learned I was speaking with Justin, the President of Danny K!! And next to him was ... Danny K!!! Today I purchased four more of these very nice bags ... another one for me, & the others as gifts. I use this for my Apple Cell Phone. The phone is too large for my pockets. The bag is perfect because the size is right for this phone and the adjustable strap is perfect for my very petite size. The shoulder strap hooks onto the case and the holes they fit into are reinforced. I love the multi color pattern and the outside pocket just the right size to put in a small wallet. It looks like it will last a long time. The fabric seems quite durable and the zipper is sturdy. It is exactly what I wanted and need. I now have 5 of them. Two are the multi colors and one is the cats. I ordered all three of those. Today I received the one with the Eiffel Tower which is a gift I requested. All four are still usable, and I really love them for my iPhone I keep a surgical mask in the extra pocket for doctor appointments. I have 5 Danny K bags and I love each one of them. This one is perfect for the essentials! I questioned if it would really hold my IPhone 16 Pro Max but the phone slides in perfectly! I will use this one to carry my phone, keys and cards. It would hold more but those are my essentials. The pink color of this bag is beautiful. It is a deep pink color not bright as I had expected, it is even prettier. The quality of the craftsmanship is the best you could ask for. All of my bags have held up against daily wear.

My phone in it's Otterbox protection case in 6 inches long and 3 inches wide. The lovey tapestry front pouch phone pocket is 5 x 5 inches wide and deep. It's not long enough for most phones to have full coverage. The straps are adjustable and it's easy to buy a clip and attach a key ring to the strap. Cons: (1)The problem is that if you bend over with the phone in the front pouch pocket the phone can and does slide out and can fall out quite easily. It happened in me repeatedly. Glad I had my Otter box protector case on the phone. * I did find a way to make the phone more secure but it took a little time and effort. See further down. The front zipped black (nylon ?) pocket is longer than the front pouch pocket but it is not as wide. So my 6 inches long x 3 inches wide phone Does fit in the front zipper pocket and it Will zip closed, but just barely. As the front zipped pocket is a little bit over 6 inches long and about 4.5 inches wide. I really wish the manufacturer had put the measurements in the description of the cell phone purse. (2) This Cell phone purse also has Zero slots for credit cards, Drivers license, etc. (3) The zippered back pocket is very small. The only thing that I can do with it is use it for spare change or receipts if I use anything in the front zipped pocket. *My solution for the phone falling out of front pouch pocket was: I use a Small (3 wide x 4 & 3/4inch long) credit card wallet . I got it a few years ago @ A shoe store for $2. I brought it home and took the middle card holder(4" L x 2.5" wide) out so I could use that part for my clear Stadium bag. My pink card wallet (3" W x 4 .75 "L) with close strap, is not even 1/2 inch thick, But if I put the pink card wallet with close snap strap ( not the cannibalized 8 card holder) in the front zipper pocket my phone will not fall out as easily in the front pouch pocket. Once I finally found a way to keep the phone more secure in the pouch pocket I was happy. ** If I only use the "caniblized" flat 8 card holder my cell phone will slide/ fall out of front pouch. But if I put the phone in the zipper pocket with just the 8 slot flat card holder and not the pink card wallet , I can then put a clip pen and some lip gloss ,etc in the front pouch pocket. I'm thinking about Adding fabric velcro strips to the front pocket To help secure items other than a phone in the pocket if used. As I do love the artistry of tapestry pattern on the pouch pocket, and how well Danny K managed to merge the textile materials (the tapestry and nylon material on the zippered pockets) as well as the adjustable strap with metal fasterns and the light weight of the purse I am definitely keeping it. I do recommend it. I just wanted you to be aware of any potential problems that you might have and my suggestion for possible fixes. I *love* this bag and will probably end up buying more – I mean, who could resist all those great fabric choices? First of all, I realized that I know this company: I have a couple of their bags from years ago, and they've held up so well, and are so unique. And they're made in the US! Double bonus greatness. I bought this for travel, but can see that it's also a great bag for whenever you just need minimal stuff (taking a walk, running to the grocery store); phone, keys, card or two, ID, lip balm. What I was looking for is a bag that I can wear cross-body in the airport, mainly for those sometimes chaotic moments after you've shown your passport and boarding pass to the TSA agent, to when you're throwing things in a bin and haven't had time to put everything back properly. Last time we traveled, I almost lost my passport that way. So I wanted something slim and trim with an adjustable and sturdy cross-body strap that has room for my phone, ID/passport and boarding pass. Put the whole thing in the TSA bin, and when we get to the gate, tuck it into my backpack or personal item (or if it's under your jacket, they may not even care or count it as another item). Most passport holders are kind of ugly and utilitarian. Oh, and many use velcro flaps -- I really hate the sound of velcro and try to avoid it. So, bingo! This bag uses good zippers, sturdy grommets and metal rings where the removable, adjustable strap attaches, and has ample space for phone, passes, ID, passports (one slip pocket in front plus a zip pocket front and back). And it looks stylish on top of that. I have a feeling I'll end up using it a lot more than I thought.

I like this bag because I can fit my iPhone 7s Plus, which I keep in an Otterbox Defender, in the front pocket. I also like the grommets for the strap clasps. This feature seems to be more durable than straps sewn to the bag. I extended the adjustable strap to its longest length. You can see where it sits in comparison to my arm length. I am average height. I gave three stars for versatility because some people may not like that there is no built in place for credit cards or IDs. Personally, this is no problem as I keep mine in a small holder which fits nicely in the zippered pocket. I think this bag works well for traveling because a passport can fit in the zippered part along with credit cards, IDs and cash. There is room for pens in both the zippered pocket and the front pocket - even with the phone. Smaller items, such as chapstick or gloss, have a tendency to slide into the bottom of the zippered pouch which makes it harder to reach those. The bag is lightweight and even with my phone, it doesn’t weigh too much or pull on my shoulders. Overall, I am happy with this purchase for the price and how suitable it is for my daily use or for traveling.

I love this purse! I needed something like an external pocket where I could pull my cell phone out quickly and easily. The sleeve on this purse is perfect for that. Both sections of the purse are lined with a satin like material. Very nicely sewn. The colors were much clearer and prettier in person than what I was getting on my monitor, where they seemed really muted. In particular, this purse comes across more lavender and purple than the maroon I tend to see on my screen, but purple is in the description so that was fine. I know it could be my monitor's color balance or maybe the picture isn't the best, I really don't know. Not a failing of this purse at all, but some upgrades I could suggest could be some kind of small piece of black Velcro or snap included separately where I could easily close off the large loop left in the hanging strap once it's adjusted to the length I want. Myself, I just used a small black piece of twist tie and that worked too. Another idea for an upgrade would be to include in the handle one of those black cables that could be sewn into the perimeter around the purse and threaded through the handle to prevent a pickpocket from cutting the strap. Of course, that is an unlikely eventuality for most of us and does present a small degree of hazard. Just a thought. None of this is in any way a dealbreaker. In fact, I'm going to look at more colors and am planning to pick up 1 or 2 more to go with different outfits.I got compliments on this the 1st day wearing it. I am so delighted and could not be happier with this as it did exactly what I needed.

Superb quality and exactly the right size for a phone and a few essential items, thus eliminating the need for a purse. I'm going back to there listing to order another one in a different color/pattern. You won't be disappointed with your purchase if buy one of these. And, MADE IN AMERICA!
