It has a clear, protective film that must be removed as well. I cleaned and prepped all my surfaced with rubbing alcohol first and used a heat gun during installation. If you try to install this product without heat, you will have a terrible time! Heat seems to be a must to properly activate the adhesive, but that's also pretty standard fair for most vinyl wraps. All in all I'm very impressed and wouldn't hesitate to buy this brand again in the future.
