Very fault-tolerant wine yeast
Have used this yeast for a variety of fast and cheap wine batches, under a wide range of temperatures; it doesn't stall out. Good for shocking a stuck batch as well, along with grape skin mush. Gives a bit more character than the other high ABV standard, EC-1118. Not the greatest for cider but the brew was dry and I was too lazy to hunt down a proper cider yeast.
