Literally the best fridge I have ever bought. It is the only lock that has worked and my kids cannot get open. It lasted over 6 years until we bought a new fridge. Just purchased a second one for the new fridge. Easy application. Does require a stronger grip to open. My 9 year old knows how to open it but cannot always get it.

We have used this product for many years as a hack to keep our residential refrigerator door in our RV from flying open while driving. Unfortunately, with living and storing our RV in the desert, plastic does not last forever, and our prior unit finally broke. I was not looking forward to removing the old unit and installing a new one. But despite how firmly the old unit adhered to the refrigerator all this years, it was reasonably easy to remove per the instructions. The unit also has a very nice measuring tool, making sizing the new unit to the refrigerator fairly trivial. A really simple, well made solution. So glad they still make these and I was able to easily replace the old unit.

We bought this for our residential frig in our RV while we travel. We measured as described, but ended up being slightly loose. Even tho it being loose, it worked well on our last trip.

Do NOT buy this product. After researching fridge locks for our toddler for quite a while, We decided on this one. The installation process was simple and the glue that holds it on is 5-star. As soon as we put in on we thought it was a pretty thick Plastic piece where the seal of the fridge closes but thought it’d be ok. By the next morning, our fridge was warm but freezer was fine. We took everything out and then The fridge was cooler but the freezer was warmer. We started to think our whole fridge was about to bite the dust. We tried everything we could think of but it still was acting strange, not cooling like it should. We checked the seal around the fridge lock piece and it seemed fine. Still i finally told my husband to take it off because we found it ironic that our fridge didn’t start having any issues until we installed the lock. He took it off and by the next morning our fridge and freezer was back to normal! It was the plastic piece messing the seal up! I would never recommend this product unless you want to make your fridge overwork to keep cool. We almost went out and bought a new fridge because we thought it was going out when in reality it was just this dumb child lock we installed so DON’T Purchase this one....

No kids around, Just wanted the freezer door to seal properly. Sometimes find the contents of this freezer are covered with “snow” because the humidity has gotten in due to the freezer door not sealing. This locking unit didn’t help. Would have helped to have a ‘rubbery’ gasket at the base of the lock for a snug fit. AND the buttons on the lock are tough for “older” fingers!

Our residential-sized French door refrigerator in our motor coach did not come with a locking latch. Instead a Velcro strap was provided which did nothing to prevent all 3 doors from opening. We used a heavy rubber bungee strap which works but is a pain to do/undo and puts a strain on the handles. This simple devise works. Centered at the 3 point intersection of the doors, it held well during normal travel. The plastic base did break when our rear tires went over a curb. It was a harsh impact and not surprising but the round latch remained on the “tongue” of the base. It would be great if the base that adheres to the refrigerator was made of metal or sturdier plastic. In the meantime, though, I am ordering a replacement and another to have on hand.

Why does it seem like toddlers are freakishly strong?! My daughter has somehow managed to figure out how to open the fridge and then proceeds to rearrange the contents. Needless to say, I needed to find something to keep her from pulling everything from the bottom of the fridge onto the floor in my kitchen. There are several companies out there that make these “multi-locks” that just seem like a complete waste, and I read reviews about them failing – either the adhesive came off or the plastic broke. I happened to stumble on this during one of my middle of the night shopping sessions on Amazon. I liked that the adhesive part is on the cross panel INSIDE the fridge, instead of on the outside. The other bonus was that it comes in Chrome to match my Stainless fridge nicely. This was super simple to install and the best part was watching my husband get very confused when he wasn’t able to open the fridge! (Us moms have to find some small things to keep us entertained!) The “mushroom cap” takes a little work to figure out how to clamp both prongs at the same time to release, but I got the hang of it pretty quick. I also like that it comes with a storage post you can mount directly onto the fridge with adhesive.

This locks works great for our unconventional fridge doors. Easy to set up and very secure. Sometimes it is hard for me to get it off the fridge - especially one handed. It scratched the heck out of our stainless steel fridge on day 1. After just a few uses. My husband added a cut chair cushion to the back of it to keep it from doing further damage.

I bought this to stop my 2 and 4 year olds from helping themselves to everything in the fridge/freezer whenever they wanted. We have a French door fridge with bottom mounted freezer drawer so installed this lock at the junction of those three doors/drawers. It works exactly as intended and was easy to install. It has stopped the kids getting in and even I sometimes have trouble getting it off. The only thing is the arm for the lock seems like it could easily snap as my son has a tendency to twist the lock to try and take it off. So far it's held up, but don't know for how long.

Working great so far... had a hard time sticking the adhesive to the fridge but it finally stuck. We shall see how it fairs through the mountains and the heat/cold.

No importa cómo lo coloque, para mi modelo de refrigerados de dos puertas ( LG) ... no permite que el refrigerador cierre bien. el borde de la base que va pegada al refrigerador es demasiado grueso, y simplemente no cierra.

Works good but does not last. We bought another one when the first broke and neither lasted more than a month

Hasta el momento ha funcionado con un pequeño torbellino que tengo en casa. No es super cómodo, por los botones, están algo duros.
