Once I understood that it could be rotated to a desired height, I picked the lower one and found myself sleeping the entire night without waking up to a cache mid-sleep or after getting up—no more tight neck and shoulders. I discovered this pillow existed when I recently saw it on Amazon and decided to purchase it. Whether flat on my back or sideways, this pillow is designed to work either way without manipulating or adjusting it to allow you to sleep. Breathing was easy either way. I know from the old pillow that if I slept on my back, my airway was constricted, and when I woke, I felt groggy, and it took several hours to fully wake up. When I wake up on my back, I feel fully rested and ready to move. As far as an ergonomic pillow goes, this is excellent! There's a nit of a learning curve to adjust to just the way you like it, but once you do, it's so nice! But the big drawback is....it's so HOT! I have woken up a few nights in a row feeling like my head is on fire! I sleep with a fan blowing on me, and it's supposed to be cooling, so I don't know what the problem is. I'll try it with a differnet pillowcase and see if maybe that is the problem.

I love my pillow. I've been using it for a few months and it is really helpful for someone with a tear in their shoulder. It took me a little time to get used to it but it does what it needs to do in supporting me comfortably. I do use a regular pillow underneath so I am not laying flat after some healing time. I recommend this for anyone that has difficulty sleeping with pain. I didn't give it 5 stars because after several hours of laying on it, I find I'm sweating. But I say give it a try.

I’ve been using this pillow for a year now, and I love it. It definitely didn’t fix all my neck issues, but it’s been a huge improvement. It is a medium firmness, but the contours make that more comfortable than not. I sleep in all positions, and while I don’t think I’ve ever used the arm cut-outs for their intended purpose, they do aid in reducing the thickness of the pillow if sleeping half on the side, half on the stomach. I think I got this pillow for under $50, and even for double that, it’s been well worth the price this last year. It always travels with me because I don’t want to have to use a regular pillow. My brother also tried it out for a few nights then bought his own in the queen size because he liked it so much (His shoulders are slightly broader than mine). Side note, I found satin pillow cases that fit the standard and queen sizes of this pillow great. They are here on Amazon if you look for them. The brand I got were BALAPET, but if you search “cervical neck pillowcase” there are a lot of options.

I wanted and needed this to be my solution, alas not to be. It is far too heavy to move around under my head at night. The height is wrong to align with my head and spine. I returned it and searched for a better solution. It expands so it needs another very large strong box to return it. Not a happy purchas.

I have slept on a memory foam cervical pillow for almost 20 years. Unfortunately, the foam breaks down over time and the pillows have to be replaced. I am at that place with my current pillow so I purchased this one from amazon due to it's high number of fabulous reviews and it's review grade. I ordered the standard size. I did check the measurements and was ok with it being on the small side. Most of the cervical pillows I've had are smaller than traditional pillows. The size of this pillow doesn't bother me, but the lack of firmness does. It's as though the density of this foam is simply not there. I expect memory foam to be firm and require pressure before it caves in. This pillow doesn't do that. In short, it just doesn't really support the head/neck. I feel like I was essentially laying on the mattress without a pillow. It doesn't react like normal memory foam either. Perhaps it's because of the size (maybe the larger sizes are firmer simply because they are larger)? I'm not sure. At this point, i can't return it (because it's used) and I don't really want to spend $50 more to upgrade to the next size. I had high hopes, but meh.

I have a dowager hump and I’ve had problems ever since I can remember to get a good nights sleep and to get my neck comfortable . This DONAMA CERVICAL PILLOW IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. THIS IS THE SECOND ONE I HAVE BOUGHT WITHIN ONE MONTH. I SPEND TIME IN TULSA AND TIME IN REXBURG AND I WANT TO MAKE SURE I HAVE ONE OF THESE PILLOWS IN EACH CITY. I AM FINALLY ENJOYING A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP AND WAKING UP WITHOUT ANY NECK PAIN.
