Very well made with tons of tie-down points. Material feels adequately thick without being heavy. Questionable about being totally waterproof because none of these tarps rarely are waterproof. Will edit the review if I find it leaks. Stakes are very lightweight but seem sturdy enough but rough pounding will bend them if you're not careful. Only included 4 but there should be at least 6 included. Paracord and stuff sack are a nice added touch. Good that the tie-down points are reinforced.

QUALITY Material and made. The 13×13 is definitely the choice for having a quick survival shelter. Excellent craftsmanship, great size, compact with a bag. I'm extremely satisfied with this product.

It's an excellent tarp; it withstood rain all night and into the early morning without letting a single drop of water through.

I never left home without and used a tarp shelter made from silnylon for 10 years in the backcountry and alpine of Alaska. They are more versatile, lighter and small in a pack than a tent but albeit not as good as a full tent in a blow setup as advertised. I used mine to cover a bolt hole in the snow, or a trench, snow pit cook shelter, even to wrap around us in the rain resting. The one I carried for over 10 years was made from silnylon and weighed 1 pound and the same size as the Free Soldier with a stuff ask half the size. I was looking to replace my old silnylon shelter and found this one, the price was not bad. Its quite heavy duty / heavy fabric with lots of webbing for versatility in use but all these do add weight and require a larger stuff sack. But for the price, hard to beat for the use. Rain good to go, snow good to go, wind is another story. The edges have to be staked tight and secured of the wind will blow under the edges creating a parachute and chilling inside I have shoveled snow around the edges, rocks, limbs to secure down the edges in a wind. Another option is to clip to a high point like a tree limb, ice screw, piton, cam, etc. with a carabiner that allows it to hang, get inside, sit of the edges, good shelter out of the weather. Or use a ski / trekking pole to apex the tent. My one compliant, not enough stakes. I bought 2 more; the 4 supplied to stake out the 4 corners, but requires another stake to secure the entry flap / door on its self to seal it up, 2 are better to cross the fabric so its tighter. Of course, rocks, snow blocks and such can be used for the same thing its just in my opinion, 6 should be included. Along with P cord and slider locks. The slider locks on the P cord work, they slide with ease yet lock up tight. Close friends, this will hold 3 and even 4 for very close friends. Well worth the price.

So far so good. Works well. Haven't tried it in extreme situations yet. Over-all a Great value. Quality appears to be good. I bought the 13 x 13. It was much bigger than I anticipated.

Love it, love it, love it! Not using for backpacking but great for motorcycle camping. Packs light and small, strong. And for the price...!! Bought the 13'x13'.

I used this for an overnight wilderness search and rescue class. I’d worked perfect. 10x10 size made a great shelter for one person plus gear.

デイキャンプでひとまず使ってみました。 釣り輪の補強が、あまり強くない事は、レビューで知っていたので、 あまりストレスがかからないように、別ロープを張って、そこに吊り下げる形にしました。 ループはたくさんついているので、いろいろトランスフォームして遊べます。 この日も、前半は日除け的に使い、午後から雨がぱらついてきたので、普通に三角屋根にして運用しました。 生地はそこそこ厚めで、畳むと、そこそこずっしりです。 おまけの細引きとペグが4つ付いてきますが、自分で中央メインループに4ミリ細引き、端部各所に3ミリ細引きを自在金具とともに、長めに取り付けてます。 ヒモだらけになっても、袋に綺麗に収まるよう、袋がゆとりを持って作られているのであんしんです。

結構風の強い川の近くでテントを貼りました。 ポールは付属されてないので、トレッキングポールで代用しました。 付属のペグで固定し、風もある程度通るように張ってみました。 遮光性が十分とは言えませんが何もないより良い感じです。 風が通ると涼しいく、快適に過ごせました。 初の徒歩キャンで使用し、徒歩キャンには活躍しそうです

Good tarp, worked well as a shelter and a tent footprint. Took it camping and having used tarps before for both, I think it functioned well. I like the weight of it: light. The central grommets were really what I was looking for and they held well under wind and rain. Would buy it again. Only dislike is the hunting orange outline, but that's not a make or break for me. This is a good outside, camping tarp that is well made and lightweight for its large size. Edit- used this tarp for protection on a trip when isolated on an island during a lightning storm. This thing held up to the winds and rain and the reinforced grommets and loops held up. I pack this for every trip and its been great.
