This really works! And my friend told me about it. I didn’t believe it, but it has changed my hair for the better!

The same results as a much more expensive salon treatment and lasts just as long for a fraction of the price. The process is relatively easy but is time consuming. Be aware that there are very strong fumes. It’s best to do in a well ventilated area. I had windows open and fans going with an N95 mask and it’s still pretty potent.

So I buy straightening kits a couple times a year to help keep my locks in check. I have a beach wave that is NOT cute. But the kits help keep my hair straight and frizz free when its no longer strait. This was my first time using this kit. I have a callogen conditioner by this brand that I love, so I figured I'd try their kit. This kit works very well and the end result was very soft, shiny, healthy looking hair. And bonus it did not lighten my color. Some kits do. Now the bad part. The straightening creme is VERY strong. Prepare yourself for watery eye, tingling nose hair, burning throat, chest on fire, and the need for fresh air, during application. I always do this in my bathroom with windows open, a fan, and a vent; but really ...outside would have been better for this kit. I honestly wasnt sure I'd make it through the application and almost gave up. But i pushed through it. After it is processed and dried its more tolerable. Putting a straight iron to it caused a bit of a steam that was a bit rough but tolerable. I did not have any skin reactions. And once it was done and washed out, it left my hair smelling clean. Some kits leave an odor for a day or two but surprisingly didn't. I gave it 5 star because the end result is amazing. But prepare yourself with a well ventilated area. I

I have been having my hair chemically treated for about 40 years, since I was around six years old. Over that time, I have experienced scalp burns from both professional salon treatments and at-home box products. Some of those burns were quite severe, even when the products were applied by licensed professionals. With this product, the application itself was not especially uncomfortable. It caused only a slight tingling sensation, which was minimal compared to experiences I have had with other chemical treatments. However, I could not get past Step 2 because of the fumes. What made this experience so shocking is that the product did not even have a particularly strong chemical smell. Despite that, the fumes became overwhelming. I tried to push through and complete the process, but it became increasingly uncomfortable. In the middle of blow-drying my hair with the product on, I had to stop and rinse it out immediately. I had every door open and every fan running. I even stood near an open doorway, yet the fumes were still unbearable. My eyes were burning, my throat was burning, and I felt increasingly concerned as the process continued. I was texting a friend throughout the application, which was difficult because I couldn't always see very well, and repeatedly commented that the product felt like it was going to burn my hair off because of how intense the reaction was becoming. I genuinely feel that I wasted both my money and my time. More importantly, I believe there should be a clear warning about ventilation. Even a simple recommendation to use the product only in a well-ventilated area would have helped set expectations and allowed me to prepare accordingly. I have been using chemical hair treatments for four decades, and I have never experienced anything like this. Never once have I had my eyes burn or my throat burn while using either professional salon products or box relaxers and treatments at home. This was a first for me. I will never use this product again. I almost want a refund, but since I used the product, I doubt that is possible. The entire experience was awful, and at this point, I am simply hoping my hair does not start falling out over the next few days.

I was DETERMINED to make this product work! Packaging was perfect. Came with gloves and everything you see in the photo. However sizes are pretty small. I have fairly long hair and I only bought 1 box and had to really ration how I spread it on different sections of my hair. When you first open it, it smells pleasant but after a while it started to give me a headache. I’m not usually sensitive to smells so I didn’t think anything of it. But when I started applying heat both with my blow dryer and flat iron to set the product like in the instructions I started gasping for air and couldn’t breathe, I started coughing, my eyes were watering and my throat and eyes felt like they were burning! Which I was already aware was a known side effect from this product per reading the previous reviews. But I was DETERMINED I had already started and there was no turning back now! I opened a window for more ventilation and used my husband’s construction fan & took breaks breathing fresh air outside of my bathroom until I finished. And I was ecstatic with the results. A few hours of suffering for manageable silky straight hair that didn’t cost me hundreds of thousands in a salon. I couldn’t complain and was very happy. I will be buying again once it wears off for re-application! Pros: 1. It leaves hair silky straight. 2. If done correctly you won’t need a flat iron until it wears off. All I had to do was blow dry, didn’t need to use a brush while I dried, perfect for wash and go! 3. If you want Asian straight hair you got it! This product will do that! 4. Box says it will last about 12 weeks! (Less if you wash hair more frequently/ swim in pool/beach) Cons: 1. The chemical fumes causing allergic reaction, trouble breathing, burning sensation of eyes and throat, and blurred watery vision. 2. Not enough product in 1 if you have long/thick hair. 3. For me personally I started to develop a lot of dandruff and scalp irritation which was fixed with some oiling and scalp moisturizer. 4. Hair is silky straight but no volume, bounce, or movement without styling just limp hair.

Lo utilize y me gustó como me dejó el cabello pero tenía un olor un poco fuerte sino te incomoda el olor te va encantar el resultado que te deja en el cabello

The chemicals were so bad my nose, throat and whole airway tract were on fire. I could not breath and my eyes were watering, I could barely see what I was doing. Followed the instructions to the T, my hair was straight. Still a bit frizzy but 90% better than before keep in mind I have wavy hair. After 4-5 days it was due for another hair wash day. I use organics (personal preference), air dried my hair (due to heat and dye damage, I no longer want to encourage) and the waves were 40% back. My hair is not straight anymore. I wasted my money, time and health with this BS!!!

The product left my 4C type hair soft and manageable. However, nothing could have prepared me for the fumes that came off the product. I was choking, my eyes tearing and also experienced scalp burns and which tempted me to wash the product off my hair. I don't think I will be buying the product again due to the fumes.
