Best value for money without spending 1200 for the same premium feel
The ULTIMEA Poseidon D80 is a heavy-hitting 7.1 channel surround sound system that offers incredible value for anyone looking to upgrade their TV audio. Setting it up is quick and painless thanks to color-coded cables, and while the four surround speakers are wired, the 6.5-inch subwoofer connects wirelessly to keep your living room from looking like a tangled mess. You also get plenty of modern connectivity options right out of the box, including HDMI eARC, digital optical, and Bluetooth. When it comes to actual sound quality, the Dolby Atmos capabilities combined with the system's BassMX technology deliver punchy, room-filling audio that makes a massive difference for movies and gaming. The factory tuning can run a little sharp when listening to music, but the ULTIMEA mobile app completely solves this. The app gives you total control over your audio profile with a customizable 10-band equalizer and over a hundred preset EQ matrices, letting you dial in the exact sound you want for any situation

AWESOME!!! Paid FUL PRICE NO FREEBIE GREEN VINE
VERY NICE AND LOUD!!!! Will cause cops to come from noise level!! Lol so I ended up buying a $300 set which is the 7.1 with the Dolby, and the Dolby Cosmo. You have to put the HDMI put in the arc of your TV in order to get Dolby sound just so you know if you have an older TV that doesn’t support the arc then just go with the regular 7.1. When I was first setting it up the satellite speakers did barely anything and I thought this is a joke and then when I had everything set up, it was extremely loud. And then when I did the update which was very easy to do, and you do it through the app, it was like 30 to 40%, even louder so I don’t know, but of course I have neighbors next-door that are very close and for a very loud setting is 45 out of 100. I’m watching a movie on Netflix and I like the equalizer set at movie but it also has other settings and the night setting is nice too. The night setting dims the sound by about 65%. I had a Vizio sound bar with two satellite speakers and base. There was nothing wrong with my Vizio I just decided to upgrade it. I like this system, because the surround speaker is quite small, and my Visio was very large. There’s a lot of bang to your buck in the sound bar, and the subwoofer is really loud as well. I love music and I love sound and I love watching movies with a lot of surround sound and for the price this is great. It’s very easy to set up. It just took me a little bit more time because I had to undo my old system and set this one up. You don’t have to peer any buttons or push anything it automatically pairs by itself. I do highly recommend this. I’ll update it if something goes wrong because I read reviews that some systems went out after several days but as far as I know, hopefully this should be working just fine and hopefully I’ll have this for a long time. Also, the chords on the satellite speakers are fairly long, so don’t be concerned if you have to put it at the other end of your room it should fit.

Hands down best bang for your buck
I recently got the Ultimea Poseidon D80 Surround Sound System through a promotional reward program, and honestly I wasn’t expecting it to completely outperform my previous setup. I had been using a Sonos surround system that cost me close to $2,000, so I figured there was no way this would compare — but I was genuinely shocked by how good the Poseidon D80 sounds. The first thing I noticed was how immersive everything feels. The surround sound separation is incredible, especially during movies and gaming. Dialogue comes through crystal clear, bass is deep without sounding muddy, and the overall soundstage fills the room way better than I expected. Music also sounds amazing on it — vocals are clean, highs are sharp without being harsh, and it handles low-end frequencies better than my old Sonos setup did. What impressed me most is how balanced the system feels. A lot of soundbars either overdo the bass or sound tinny at higher volume, but the Poseidon D80 stays clear and powerful even when turned up loud. Setup was also surprisingly simple and took only a few minutes. I honestly didn’t think I’d end up replacing my old premium system, but after using this for a while, I prefer the Ultimea. For the price and performance, it completely exceeded my expectations and easily competes with systems that cost significantly more. If anyone is on the fence about trying it, I’d absolutely recommend it.

Good but a little over priced for the QOL issues it has
This is a decent sounding surround sound but theres definitely some issues. The remote wont connect to the speaker through literally anything. As in, if you mount the main speaker behind the tv or anywhere that it cant be directly "hit" by the remote, it wont read. This isnt a big deal with turning the volume up and down as you can use the tv remote with earc for this. However, Ive noticed the system itself not turning on and off with the tv. It seems to be totally random. Which is the entire purpose of earc. I can also say that "tuning" this thing has been a pain in the butt. You have to adjust levels between your pc, your tv, and the surround system itself based on what it is youre watching and it always seems to have a hollowed out "flat" sound to it. Ive owned many surround sounds and I assure you this isnt user error. It CAN be tuned to sound good in just about every use case (music, movies, games. etc.) but its a pain to do so and AGAIN, you have to literally hold your remote over the back of your tv if you have your speaker mounted there and blindly make these adjustments because it wont shoot through an inch thick oled display. All in all, I think its a good surround system, but for all the quality of life issues it has all the constant tuning it needs, it should definitely be closer to $200 than $300. At $200 this would be a killer deal. At almost $300, you feel as if youve over payed a bit. Especially given the 3 speaker vizio surround from 2022 I have in the same living room sounds just as good and needs no adjusting.

Finally, a surround system that actually works—and stays connected!
I purchased the Poseidon D80 after reading the reviews, and it did not disappoint. I previously owned the Sony BDVN5200W; while that system sounded amazing when it worked, it was a nightmare to set up and stay connected. After struggling with it for years, the D80 is a breath of fresh air. The setup was incredibly easy, but the real standout is the rear speaker connectivity. My old Sony rear speakers cut out constantly, but the D80s haven't dropped the signal once. Beyond the reliability, the sound quality is excellent. I love that you can toggle between presets like Movie, Sports, and Music, or fully customize the EQ to your liking. For the price, this system is unbeatable. I’m super happy with the purchase and would buy it again in a heartbeat.

A Home Theater Beast — Totally Surpassed My Expectations
I can't buy a system without a legit review, and believe me, this is an honest first-time brand buyer experience. I call it "A Home Theater Beast — Totally Surpassed My Expectations". When I first got my hands on the Poseidon D80 Boom, I'll admit, I wasn't expecting much. But boy, was I in for a surprise. This beast of a home theater system, with its 460 watts of power, delivered a performance that blew me away. The subwoofer, or as I like to call it, the 'boom box', packs a serious punch that my wife felt in our bedroom and rushed to complain. I confess, I loved her attitude; it means I got it right. Explosions, engines, soundtracks — everything has a depth and weight that I never thought possible. The whole system looks and feels high-end. The speakers are solid, well-built, and the packaging is of a premium level. You can tell they cared about presentation and the product experience. The sound itself? Incredible. The Cinema Mode is so good I haven't even felt the need to customize anything — though you can, and the custom EQ is an excellent touch for anyone who wants to fine-tune. The Ultimea app is clean, modern, and super easy to use. Connected via HDMI ARC to my LG 65-inch OLED, and the integration is flawless. The TV automatically controls the volume, so you don't have to juggle remotes. I've only pushed the system to 50% volume, and even at that level, it's insanely powerful, room-filling, and crystal-precise. I've always loved going to the movies because of the sound experience. Still, since installing this system, I've been watching movies at home nonstop. The Poseidon D80 Boom turned my living room into a legit home theater. If you're considering it: stop thinking. Just get it. This system exceeds its price point and delivers a cinematic experience that's genuinely addictive.

Good quality for the price!!
The sound system is AWESOME and you can control the bass, treble, and midrange all with the remote. I could not get the app to work but you really don't need it. The reason why I gave it a 5 star rating is because of the sound quality for the price. I had a Sony system that I have been unhappy with for a few years because I could never get the proper amount of bass out of the system. This system has a very large amount of bass compared to the more expensive Sony that I had. It will not shake your windows but it definitely has a very good quality bass to it. I'm definitely happy with the system. I highly recommend it.

Solid 7.1 surround system for the price
I purchased the Ultimea Poseidon D80 Upgraded to improve my home theater setup, and overall I am very satisfied with the system. The setup process was straightforward, especially using HDMI eARC. The soundbar, subwoofer, and surround speakers connected without major issues, and the Ultimea app made configuration easier. The biggest improvement is the immersive surround sound. Movies, TV shows, and PlayStation 5 games feel much more engaging compared to standard TV speakers. The wireless subwoofer provides solid bass, while the four surround speakers help create a true theater-like experience.
