Summertime Fine…. Ladies… pick this one. It’s not teeny-bopper or little girl. The vanilla and sandalwood is dreamy. The smell is sublime; instantly it puts you in a good mood. This was really done well. The top, middle and bottom notes work in concert with each other. It’s soft. It feels nice. A kiss of shimmer with a natural glow. It makes your arms and legs look great. I was afraid it would be too sticky, hard, glittery, or one-note. I was pleasantly surprised and happy that this worked out for me. The price is right. This will be my new go-to. It pairs nicely with other scents. I might get bold and try their other scents. Love, love, love!

Absolutely love the smell and the golden tint that I have on my skin. It gives me a natural glow that I absolutely love. It is in fact a dry oil and that’s my favorite part. I hate a “wet” oil where it just sticks to everything. This absorbs easily and it helps with my dry elbows. Worth the money.

I absolutely love this stuff I hate the way heavy lotion feels in the summer but still want that very moisturized feeling. This stuff does that. I would wear it to the beach or on my legs for work and it would be there still hours later. The smell is great and the sparkles are so pretty. I definitely recommend this!

Sampled oil and I love the silky smoothness of it. The overall glitter and oily finish is also a plus as it moisturizes my skin. Love the fragrance; can’t wait to apply it all over.

The Saltair Shimmering Body Oil in Salt Water Vanilla is a beautiful product. The only 3 reasons I don’t give it 5 stars are because: 1. The shimmer is not very long-lasting. When I apply it before bed, most of the shimmer effect is completely gone and absorbed by my sheets by the morning. I assume pants and leggings would absorb it in the same way, but I’ve only ever worn shorts after applications during the day, and even then, the shimmer seems to fade after 4–6 hours. 2. I have to apply a lot of oil to achieve the amount of shimmer I desire. It averages about 20–25 pumps per use. 3. The 4-ounce bottle size, combined with needing a lot of product for each application, means I’m going to run out of it pretty quickly. Here’s why I like this product: 1. The glow: If you’re looking for a subtle glow and a light shimmer effect, this oil is perfect for you; apply it before a night out, while wearing a swimsuit, or when going to the gym in your favorite workout set for a beautiful gleam. 2. The scent: It’s a divine, warm mix of sweet and spicy notes. It smells like vanilla, amber, and toasted marshmallow. It pairs really nicely with tropical, woodsy, sweet, or spicy perfumes—it’s very versatile. 3. Consistency and absorption: The oil absorbs nicely and has a light, runny consistency. Because it’s a dry oil, it isn’t too thick, nor does it leave a sticky feeling on the skin. 4. How my skin feels: I’ve used this oil 4 nights in a row, and every single morning I wake up, my skin feels so soft and smooth, with no residual stickiness or residue left behind.

Nice after shower oil with a light shimmer. Shimmer holds and does not rub off on your clothes. Feels more like a smooth lotion, but looks like an oil when on the skin. Fragrance is light and can be easily layered with other perfumes.

The fragrance deserves its own mention. I had never heard of Saltair before purchasing this, and I typically gravitate toward more luxury body care brands. I honestly wasn’t expecting much, but this completely exceeded my expectations. The scent is beautiful, rich, and sophisticated. It doesn’t smell overly sweet or harsh it just smells elegant. This product has genuinely introduced me to the Saltair brand, and now I’m excited to try more of their products. I came for the shimmer but ended up falling in love with the hydration and the fragrance. If you’re looking for a body oil that leaves your skin looking radiant while also feeling deeply moisturized, this one is absolutely worth trying. I knocked for one-star because the shimmer didn’t meet my expectations.
