Good value for the amount
I use this to amend soil for water retention and as a medium to grow sunflower sprouts. It works fine for these purposes. Please note, the particle size is fine, if this is important to you. Also, it comes in a resealable bag, which is a bonus. I have purchased this several times.

Excellent Growing Medium
After trying other brands I'm sticking with Back to Roots Vermiculite for storing Dahlia and Canna corms/tubers over the winter. This vermiculite is great for seed starting too. The quality is excellent without any unwelcome fillers. 100% organic too. The bag has the exact amount inside not just air. My Dahlia and Canna are now growing strong outdoors thanks to Back to Roots vermiculite.

Works as intended!
Used to keep dahlia tubers over winter. Had a few shrivel up but that is no fault of the vermiculite. Will use again in fall.

The size could have been alittle bigger. It just depends on how much you plant.

it does what it is supposed to do!
It's vermiculite and it does its job. It is uniform and easy to use. It's not terribly dusty, but you *should* wear a mask while using it so as not to inhale particles. It is low odor. I start seeds in it mostly, but I have also made a better potting soil by mixing in about 25% vermiculite. It helps avoid soil compaction and helps retain water for indoor plants. The size of the package is great! Not heavy at all. I think it was a decent value.

It’s ok, my biggest deal is it floats to the top so bottom watering is best however I can’t do that to some plants.
