I purchased this storage rack for the multitude of bands I have in my home gym. I used a different 2" wood screw to mount the rack, but that was by choice as nothing was wrong with the supplied hardware. The screw holes were definitely centered on studs, one of the reasons I purchased this unit. It's not like it would have come down if I had used drywall anchors, but I like everything overkill-strong. I'll probably buy another one of these racks at some point soon. Not a lot of room to hang bands, but it's functional and looks really good in my mini-hardcore home gym. From box to mounted on the wall took me all of 5 minutes, I got time for that! Buy one!

The holes are 16 inches apart, which aligns with most studs in walls. You should know that before you buy - some wall studs are 24 inches apart. If your studs are 24 inches apart, then this will not be sturdy, as you need to drill into a stud for maximum sturdiness. Otherwise - great product. I hang 3 barbells from it - 2x45# and 1x 25#

Sturdy and well made. It totally tames my jumble of exercise bands and makes the one I need quick to retrieve. I have been needing this for a while.

I'm taking a star away from what would have been a 5 star review if the storage rack came with installation instructions. Instead of instructions in the box, there was a business sized card that directed you to the web site for installation instructions. The web site, however, says that instructions come in the package. So you are left guessing about what size drill bit to use for the included plastic anchors. Other than that, it's a well-constructed and sturdy rack that should be useful in my home gym.

We, like everyone else during the pandemic, have been trying to build up our home gym. It's the perfect solution to all your tangled resistance band needs. We have been able to store all our bands, plus some accessories on the top of it, and it looks clean, modern, and put together. Definitely a great purchase!
