Get a tour not this
This pocketbook (which doesn't fit in a pocket) was useless in Tokyo while we were there. There were no useful suggestions. No helpful directions or maps - once we got to Tokyo I threw it away and worked with hotel concierge instead. Pay to get a tour not this.

Good but I donโt like the new format
I have several editions of the Pocket Tokyo. I like the format and layout of the previous editions more than this one. It does contain updated information and is valuable for that reason.

Really useful little guide
Super handy little guide that we carried around Tokyo with us. It contains some suggested routes to explore areas which we used as a helpful starting point. When we found ourselves with spare time, we used this to find additional stops to discover and we felt this guide included some good ideas somewhat more off the beaten path as well. We also liked many of the recommendations for cafes, bars and restaurants. Fits easily into a bag, would not hesitate to recommend this!
