I have used both types of triple flange tips before and found the ones that came with it do not stay in my ear as well as the more rigid ones (as pictured in the item). I was really looking forward to getting a new pair of the more rigid tips as I already have a bunch of the soft tips I ordered as replacements for my last pair of waterproof earbuds.
