I'm so bummed, mine doesn't work. I just got it in the mail and inserted batteries and the carousel spins 10% of the time, and the only button that works is the VOLUME! Why that button? So I can't change the songs or do anything with the buttons. My daughter wants it to work, is drawn to the lights, and hits the drum and all that happens is it gets so loud! If I hear back from them and get one that works I'll update this review. As of right now, what a bummer. Really want this to work!UPDATE:Customer service is great on this product. They were quick to respond and send me a new one with the volumn problem corrected. I think they are constantly improving their product. There are times my buttons don't respond well but I would buy this product again, my daughter loves it! Β The drum was smaller than I thought it would be. When I saw the box I was a bit disappointed in the size. I never actually looked at the size of it on the description it just looked like a great musical toy for my granddaughter. When I opened it up and turned it on I was blown away "! It's the neatest little toy. It has several different settings and an on and off button. The music and sounds are not extremely loud which makes it more tolerable to me for a kids toy and the colors are beautiful when it is all lit up. Despite my original thoughts, when actually looking at it and my granddaughter I see that it is the perfect size for her to use and move in the most beneficial way.
