I use a TENS machine every day, and this has a slightly different feel to it. I don't know if it was because it was my feet, but it took multiple small sessions to build up tolerance, as I didn't like the feel of the sensation on my feet. Although I am still unsure about the sensation, it basically works by tensing and relaxing the muscles repeatedly to assist with loosening tension. I found that I notice the most benefit when using it after a busy day or post a long walk. I really liked the remote control option to help prevent bending to change the 7 different modes and 15 intensity levels of this product. I also like that the product can be washed using a damp cloth; this is pretty essential if you intend to use these massage slippers on bare feet, but remember you can also use them while wearing socks, which I found more preferable and comfortable. The massage slippers are comfortable to wear, as they are light and made of cushioned material. I have slightly wide feet, so I was worried they'd be too narrow, but I had a good amount of room. Personally I think the price of £48.88 is quite expensive, as the massage slippers can only work on one part of your body, which is your feet. I think this would be better priced around the £20-£30 range based on my opinion of the product. All in all, it's a different approach to dealing with sore, tired and tight muscles, probably much cheaper than paying for a massage in the long run. It does propose some good benefits, especially when used long-term, but this is providing you can get used to and tolerate the sensation. I think if you are struggling with any of the proposed items these massage slippers claim to assist with, it might be worth a try, but they are a little bit on the higher price range.
