It is loud when it's on but I usually have it on medium and it sucks the snot out fast. So I usually only have to do it once or twice in each nasal. Make sure you spray something in the nasal first before you use it! My baby doesn't really like it, but it has helped him breathe better when he is sick. I have recommend this product to my friends! It is worth the price!! It helps that we make this into a game for our 7 month old daughter. She loves it. The suction is powerful yet gentle and I love that it has different settings.
