I cannot say enough good things about this product BuggSlayer boxelder bug killer spray
I cannot say enough good things about the product! It has been a lifesaver, honest to goodness. Heres my story: I was plagued with boxelder bugs starting last year. First year I had ever noticed them. Not even sure where they came from, what happened to make them appear, but they began to swarm. In big thick layers on the house. I know they are not dangerous or poisonous, but i became obsessed with killing them. So gross. Anyway, they were resistant to all the sprays that were recommended tp me by the hardware and garden stores. I mean a few would be found dead, but still sooooo many ALL OVER. Then the worst part, they started COMING INSIDE THE HOUSE. At night I would vacuum them off the ceilings, door frames, etc. But I would still wake up to one crawling on me every night! Finally during winter, they almost went away. I thought our severe winter would kill the infestation. I WAD WRONG. In March they started showing up, one here, then a couple days layer one there. Taunting me. Started in the windows, then in the skylights, on the walls. So i thought, I will get rhe professionals in NOW before they start laying eggs or reproducing. Well, that was a huge waste of money. Tried a few more products from the hardware store. Again, only a handful died. Tried different home remedies that I Googled (dish soap trick) didn't hardly make a dent in the infestation. Finally came across this product. Seemed a little spendy for a small bottle. I figured it would give me 2 or 3 applications according to dilution directions. Figured I had tried everything why not, can't be any worse than it is now. Was secretly hopeful based on other reviews. OMG. One application, and the next day SO MANY DEAD BOXELDER BUGS! But, that's not the best part. Something about this formula CONTINUES TO WORK ALL SEASON. I dont know what it is, I dont really care. All I know is after a week, the population was decreased to a handful here or there. Maybe a random one in the house after 1 week. Then, 2 weeks later, maybe just a few outside on the windows. Fast forward 1 month...what the heck, I realize, I haven't seen a darn boxelder bug for a while now! Fasy forward again, now, end of September. Its been months since I saw a boxelder bug!!! And I only treated the whole house twice, that first week. By the way, I used a large pump sprayer I had on hand and diluted per the ratio recommended on the label. This is one of the best purchases i have ever made, best money I've ever spent, and will be buying it to prevent bug infestation every year. UPDATE 6/14/2019 Used this again at the beginning of the warm season when i saw a few pesky boxelder bugs creeping about. Of course I ordered it right away and applied it as soon as it came. I can report that I have not seen amy boxelder bugs around the house and very few around in the yard. I will also reapply again mid-late summer just as a preventative. I also removed all the elder tree seeds and organic debris that was in my gutters because I heard they feed on organic matter. Hope this helps someone else dealing with these pesky bugs.

Works great on box elder and stink bugs.
Works great on box elder and stink bugs. I treated my exterior in the fall of 2025 and had no bugs inside the house in the spring (which was typical before treating).

Seems to control the Asian ladybug population
We have been battling Asian ladybugs for years. We recently got new windows and siding. When they pulled off the old siding, the amount of Asian ladybugs and their excrement was nauseating. Before putting the new siding, my husband cleaned the mess and sprayed thoroughly our entire house. He sprayed around all the doors and windows. The next morning we had so many dead Asian ladybugs all around the outside of our home. Now some were still finding their way into our home, but the number dropped significantly. For days I have been cleaning up dead bugs. I feel it has controlled 80% of our problem. It will be interesting to see how long it lasts.

100% Works and lasts!!
Wow!!! Every year our south facing back of the house gets swarmed with box elders, stink bugs, then Asian beetles. Last week the onslaught began. Last year I used soapy water and that was a complete waste of time. This year I used this product. I used the entire bottle in my 4 gallon battery backpack sprayer. Saturated the house from gutters and eaves, to windows….everything…….it looked like some of the bugs died but others still walking around….ugh…..the next day the bugs were dead….all of them. The house was completely free of bugs. Then we got 3.5 inches of rain over a two day period…..sun came out…warm, saw bugs flying around…..but the house is STILL BUG FREE!!!! WOW!!! No on day three of 70’s and sunny and NO bugs have returned…..totally awesome product!!!! In years passed the house would have been filled in an hour after they were rinsed with soap…….nothing…zero….no bugs at all…… It does leave a residue which you can see on the windows. I am cleaning them off. It is not visible on our house. We have cedar stained siding cream color with dark brown edge boards…….no residue in sight. Also, our 4 golden retrievers have not been affected by the spray at all. It is completely odorless. Great product!!!!

It works.
I have seen some mixed reviews for this product, and I will add my 2 cents here. This product DOES work, and it works well. BUT I noticed a few things: 1) It takes a couple of applications. At least, it did for me. I sprayed lightly the first time and quite heavily the second time. I sprayed around doors and windows very heavily. 2) It takes some time to work. The bugs did not die instantly. It took a few days for me to see the body count start to climb. But as advertised, it killed lots of stink bugs and lady bugs. I was impressed that it kept working (and still is) at my house. Stink bugs are notoriously tough to kill, so I was pleased with our results. I would estimate that we had a 95% reduction in stink bugs. UPDATE: I keep buying this stuff, because it's really the only thing that works on stink bugs! I have noticed that the staying power of this insecticide is incredibly long - it is not easy to wash off and has great residual killing power. When I applied last year in fall (Oct), it actually continued working reasonably well until August of this year. I decided to apply more this year anyways. I typically deal with hundreds or thousands of stink bugs each fall, but this year, I estimate that I only see a couple on the house at any given time. Even then, they quickly die. Thanks, Buggslayer!

Kills Box Elder bugs and Asian Lady beetles
I spray the south side of the house at first sign of Box Elder bugs or Asian Lady beetles to keep them from infesting the house. I use an ORTHO tree and shrub sprayer connected to the garden hose. Only product that seems to work! 👍

This is the only product I have found that is effective on stinkbugs.
Over the past few years, stinkbugs getting into my house have become a major problem. Every year when winter is over and it starts to get warm, they start coming out in greater and greater numbers. I discovered this Buggslayer insecticide last year and it is the only method I have found that is effective in helping to control them. When they start to appear with warm weather after an Ohio winter, I mix up the proper dilution in a pump sprayer and I spray around the perimeter of the many windows I have. Almost immediately, the number of stink bugs is dramatically reduced. It is such a relief to have found a product that works so well for me.
