Easy to Use and Works Great
I bought this to clean the coils on my air conditioner, and it did an excellent job. The foam expands well, clings to the coils, and loosens dirt and grime without requiring a lot of scrubbing. It was simple to apply, and the light lemon scent was much more pleasant than I expected. After cleaning, I noticed better airflow and my A/C seemed to cool more efficiently. One can covered a good amount of surface, making it a great value for routine maintenance. If you're looking for an easy way to help keep your air conditioner running efficiently, this cleaner is definitely worth having on hand.

Cleaned better than anything else I used in the past!h
Awesome product and will definitely buy again! Easy to use, comes with a brush that you only need to use if your coils are extra dirty like mine were. Mostly you just need to spray it on and let it do its job. I sprayed the foaming cleaner on the first time and used the brush to break apart the heavier dirt, then rinsed with a spray bottle of water. The 2nd time I just sprayed on the foaming cleaner and let it pull the rest of the dirt down. Get this if your AC coils are dirty or just as a yearly maintenance! Smells great too!

Easy to apply, but did not fix my persistent car AC odor
TL;DR: Easy to apply foam cleaner, but in my use it did not resolve a persistent AC odor, so results may depend on the root cause. I tried Frost King ACF19 Foaming Coil Cleaner to address a musty smell from my car’s air conditioning system. The product is straightforward: it sprays as a foaming detergent and is marketed as a self-rinsing cleaner for condenser or evaporator-style coils. Application is simple and the can dispenses consistently, which matters when you are trying to coat an area evenly without making a mess. In practice, I am not convinced it made a meaningful difference for my situation. After using it, my Tesla’s AC still developed an unpleasant smell again after a while. That does not necessarily mean the product is ineffective, but it does suggest that odors can have multiple causes that a coil cleaner may not solve. In vehicles, smells may come from a contaminated cabin filter, moisture trapped in the HVAC box, or microbial growth on surfaces that are difficult to reach, and a general coil cleaner may not contact the problem area sufficiently. If you are buying this specifically for a car HVAC odor, I would treat it as one possible step rather than a guaranteed fix, and consider pairing it with a cabin air filter change and proper drying habits. The foam itself seems like a reasonable cleaning agent, and I did not notice any immediate negative effects during use, but my outcome was neutral. This is only my opinion based on my use, not objective truth. Thank you for reading my review here, I try to be helpful. Notify/write to me here on Amazon if you have any additional questions for me

The best foaming AC Window Unit Cleaner on the Market
You'll wish you bought 2 or more cans. It's plenty in one can, but it takes a lot of this stuff to clean two window A/C units front and back. I managed to do both with one can, but I'll be reordering another can to use on a stubborn unit that was so dirty it needed another dose. This Frost King coil cleaner powerfully foams into the smallest areas leaving a clean, citrus scent, and you don't even have to wash it off the condenser coils or any part of the machine in which water passes over it. You can foam other areas of the AC unit too, but spray them off with a water hose or water bottle and let all the dirt from the condenser fins and coils roll out of that exterior drain hole. You'll be amazed at the buildup that flows out (dirty water, bits of debris like twigs and leaves). I love this stuff, and it keeps both of my window units blowing fresher, colder air than the day they arrived. Now my house air is cleaner, colder, and a lot healthier to breathe in. This coil cleaner is not just a convenience item for me - it's a necessity for where I live.

Fantastic Product!
Our window ac unit wasn’t really cooling the way it should. It’s a big one, 12000BTU’s, so the idea of taking it out and buying a new one was not what I wanted to do. I sprayed this stuff on the outside and on the inside coils. I did not rinse it as you don’t have to. I let it sit for about 10-15min, then sprayed it again. Using the scrub brush on the cap, I just gently went across the coils- not really scrubbing, just gently dragging it. I waiting 30min, turned on the ac, and the air was ice cold!! I’m so happy this stuff worked! Also, I didn’t unscrew the panel- I just sprayed what I could see on the front and that worked fine. Super easy to use! Took 5minutes. I also noticed the air had a clean smell- it didn’t smell musty or like mildew anymore, just clean snd cool. Excellent product, i highly recommend this for window ac units!

Easy and worth it.
Ok I forgot to get a before and after BUT, what a difference it made. I don't think the window unit had ever been cleaned. It took 4 cleanings and using the scrub on the can top to get thru all the black sticky nasty crap. It was so bad. I cleaned the whole inside after using this and dried it. Put it back together and turned it on and WOW just WOW. Instant difference. And smells good, not like mold. I still have half a can left. Do yourself a favor and get this stuff. I did the lazy way and took the front off instead of taking the whole unit out of the window. I'm a senior and it was so easy.

This stuff will get up in your grill
Super foamy. If you get the spray distance and speed just right, you get a thin bead of deep penetration before it expands - and that pushes the dirt out. If it foams out in a big blob on contact, it still works but it does not push out the dirt as well. Its a technique you should master. I cleaned the inside (condenser) fins and outside (evaporator) fins. I let the first round evaporate as normal - only scrubbing the tough spots. The second round: I let it sit a minute and then vacuumed up the foam to pull the dirt free. The fins look almost new. Wear safety googles and a mask, the spray does fly around. It has a very pleasant smell. The air conditioner is 5 years old and only vacuumed once each year in the Spring. The filter was cleaned every month from May to September. The dirt and grime this foam removed was significant. I am going to clean the fins every Spring now with this foam. Chicks dig it, fun at parties. Put a can on your coffee table as an ice breaker/conversation piece. Be the first on your block to get a can. Ask for it by name. Operators are standing by.

Works quickly and fast; was recommended to me by AC company
My window ac unit is about 2 years old and had never been cleaned with a product such as this. Just cleaned the filter every week or so. I noticed the carpet around the front interior of the AC unit was soaking wet, and did some research. I learned it was due to the coils freezing often and the exterior of the ac unit was green and absolutely FILTHY DIRTY!! So I came across this foam coil cleaner, ordered it and sprayed every inch of this ac unit inside and out. I let it sit for about 20 minutes before turning it back on. It was super easy to use and sprayed directly where I pointed it. I like the cap it came with. It helped me push some of the foam inside and in between the coils. My ac unit is small, an 6000 btu Toshiba. I definitely over sprayed the unit lol so I only have about a 1/4 of the bottle remaining. Had i have known how well this works, I definitely could've made it last longer. Overall, the Frost King ACF19 FOAM COIL CLEANER is well worth every penny for how well and quickly it works! I would highly recommend this to others. Thank you!!My window AC unit is about 2 years old and had never been cleaned with a product such as this; I just cleaned the filter every week or so. I recently noticed the carpet was soaked right in front of the AC unit as were some boxes I had sitting a few feet away. So I panicked, did some research and learned what I needed to do to fix this. A few weeks prior to this, this AC unit had frozen coils and was turned off for the day and I think this caused the level to tilt forward which therefore clogged up the drainage. The outside exterior of the ac unit was pretty much dark green and super dirty, too. A friend who owns an AC company told me to order this stuff so I did and I sprayed every inch of this AC unit inside and out! I let it sit for about 20 minutes (sprayed some more since I missed some spots) before turning it back on. It was super easy to use and it sprayed directly where I pointed it, similar to shaving cream. The lid doubled as a bristle brush which helped me push some of the foam inside and in between the coils. NOTE: My AC unit is small, a 6000 BTU Toshiba. I definitely oversprayed the unit, LOL, so I only have about a quarter of the bottle remaining. Had I known how well this works, I definitely could've made it last longer. Overall, the Frost King ACF19 FOAM COIL CLEANER is well worth every penny for how well and quickly it works! I would highly recommend this to others. Thank you!!

Great cleaner
Used on a filthy AC I got from someone who smoked, and apparently never dusted. Was absolutely filthy with hardly any cooling. Cleaned with this and it has probably 5 x the cooling I started with. 1rst time I've ever cleaned an AC unit so I have no reference for expectations, but I was thoroughly impressed

Smells good. Doesn't work. Expensive
It smells good and is super easy to use but doesn't really clean the coil much. Do not waste your money on this product people. Get your coils pressure washed instead.
