I bought it for 2 years old daughter. Have ordered size XL and it fits her well. She feel comfortable with it while swimming in the pool with no slippery. The quality is very good and sturdy.

Sets child up for belly swimming
I put a 30- pound 3-year old on this to help her learn to kick and make her arm motions, with cupped hands. She's almost over her fear of water and without a doubt she'll be swimming in her own this summer

No crotch strap.
Because there is not anything like a crotch strap, my daughter just slide down in the and wasn't comfortable in the water she is a 25 lb 1 year old.

Prefer Puddle Jumpers
Nothing bad, nothing great. Worked fine and it fit my 45 lb 4 year old. It does slip up after use which is the reason for 3/5 stars. Prefer simple puddle jumpers.
