Great hat for sailing trip. Wide brim. Sides snap up for another look. Vented top. Draw strings for head circumference and under chin. Will pack really well.

I got this for a trip to the Gulf of Mexico beach in MS. It was quite breezy the day we were at the beach the most and the hat stayed put. Wherher I was on the beach or in the water, it stayed put, kept the sun out of my eyes, and shaded my neck and ears, which burn easily. Very pleased with the hat. It doesn't stretch too much so if you're more than like a 7 3/8, you may find it snug.

This protects my head and face from the sun when I'm working in the yard.

I have a smaller head so it doesn;t fit that well. But it's pretty hot and makes my head hot.

I like the hat but the color of the hat is not the same as on the page where you order. It was a medium color blue and this hat is navy. I did not want navy blue
