One day shipping and the correct parts. My headphones bit the bullet, I have two pairs of broken XM4s. One has the left side broken and the other has the right side broken. It was a perfect fit and fits excellently. I got the black instead of the silver/tan because it was one day shipping and I wanted my headphones back up as soon as possible. The flat head works as a good pry tool for all of the things that need to be pried open. The phillips head doesn't strip the screws and fits every screw needed to remove the ear cup. I had difficulty with the phillips screwdriver removing the screws on the right side ear cup. The only criticism about this kit is that the phillips head screwdriver doesn't have strong magnetism to it so, the screws will fall off of the head. Be sure to work over a desk.

I am super pleased with the results of using this hinge replacement for my Sony xm4s because I thought I was going to have to go buy new headphones entirely. But this is the piece that’s tends to break pretty often with these headphones because it develops a lot of wearing hair from the headphone hinge, being bent constantly. It’s not a quick fix and I would carve out at minimum an hour for the repair but this comes with everything you need and you can’t tell that it’s a replacement piece because it works so well. I only need this for the right side and there are tons of videos to follow along with that make the fix super easy. I have 0 experience with repairing electronics and I’m a girly pop with acrylic nails and rheumatoid arthritis. If I can do it you can do it. $20 for a repair kit or $200 for new headphones? Easy choice

Pros: Value for money: I tried to order a hinge off of aliexpress but it came out to the same price of this kit due to tariffs. So this is the best deal you can get because you get 2 hinges, and a tool to remove the ear cuffs. The screwdriver does not work well. After installing the hinges, my sound quality remained the same, but my fit and comfort increased because it made Mr headphones useable again! Cons: Ease of installation: replacing your broken hinges is easy, but this kit makes it harder. The screwdriver is trash, since it just keeps rotating on itself and does not actually remove screws. Also the kit comes with screws that don’t even work. They have no function nor fit in any part of the headphones so it’s a useless “freebie”.

Perfect fit. No instructions. Look up tutorials on YouTube first to make life easier. The provided screwdriver are cheap and the screws on the board were torque more than hand tight for some stupid reason by the manufacturer. It destroyed the screwdriver. Luckily I had my own that did the job.

Did not send all the necessary pieces, and the magnetization of the screw driver is barely there making picking up the, already hard to pick up, screws harder. Also, the screws included aren’t the correct size.

Parts were perfect. Much less $ than some other offerings that only provided a single part instead of 2 repair parts and did not include the tools. Many YouTube videos on repair of this model of Sony headphones. It's easy to do with even with limited skills...

No comment on the replacement parts because I can’t use them yet. The screwdriver they have is useless for the right side. The screw on the motherboard dont come out with this screwdriver. Might work on the left headphone because that side has different screw placement.

A perfect replacement piece, took me 30 minutes to replace the broken hinge with these and now my headphones are as good as new. very happy. it also came with some replacement screws, not super sure what they're for because I reused all of the screws already in my headphones and none of them matched the ones that were provided, but that's not a problem or anything. Screw drivers work great, flat head is a good prying tool. My left headphone was literally dangling by the cable holding on for dear life before.
