and phone is now working as good as new
A life-saver! When the Gigaset went dead with all the entered numbers "lost", replacing the transformer was a last resort. The items arrived very promptly, well packaged (both the power and phone cables were supplied). Changed the cables, and phone is now working as good as new.

Gigaset telephone system mains transformer
My telephones stopped working mid call, a quick check indicated that there was no power at the output end of the existing cable. I ordered this hoping that a duff mains transformer was the only reason for the system failure. Plugged it in and 'hay-presto' back to full operation.

My Phone stopped working, at first I thought it needed new batteries but found they were ok so had to buy a new main base unit. If anybody had the same trouble I would advise them to get in touch with Amazon to buy anew base unit.

Lucky find.
Accidently damaged the wire to the main unit and had resigned myself to buying brand new phones when I found this for sale on Amazon. It works fine so no need to replace the house phones yet.
