Question 2

Has Toto fixed the terrible problem of its toilet seats yellowing after a few years?

Accepted Answer

Hello, The newer seats are made from high quality polypropylene and are not prone to yellowing or peeling. To extend the life of your seat, please do not use bleach or any other harsh cleaners on the seat. It is also best to protect the seat from UV light from the sun. I hope this helps and thank you for choosing TOTO!

Question 3

re totos elongated soft close. what hardware is supplied to fix it to the toilet? needs different bolts than other brands

Accepted Answer

Hi Miguel, The SS204 will comes with hardware to mount the seat to the toilet. This is a set of bolts and nuts. If you have a skirted model that does not allow access to the underside of the seat mount area (like the TOTO Aquia), then you will need to mount the seat from the top. If you need it, they can be found here: https://www.amazon.com/Toto-THU651N-Mounting-Hardware-Toilet/dp/B001F9WJTKHope that helps and thank you for choosing TOTO!
