The size chart is a bit off, and I had to return the pair I bought based on the size chart for a larger size. That said, overall I'm pleased with these. I use them for kickboxing and Krav Maga. The allow for uninhibited movement and are thick shorts. There is a sort of mesh trim on the side I could do without and the edge of the Velcro on the waistband is a bit abrasive, but I can usually adjust it to mitigate. I've only had these for about a month, but so far so good.

I go to a bjj gym that does as much gi practice as it does no gi. Which has put me in the market for a sturdy pair of shorts that will hold up.Have used these in combination with bjj and boxing.Never felt restrictive, allowed for free movement. Large fit perfect (waist size 34).Have held up perfectly after wash as well (no bleeding) would definitley purchase this item again possibly 2 at a time because of price.

Here's the only downsides. If you dry with heat, the design on the front gets kinda melted together and you have to pull it apart and that kinda damages it a little (nothing to cry over). theres a draw string it them i never use, but it gets caught up in the velcrow A TON, so either take it out or make sure the velcrow is together when you've not using these

I'm a size 36 waist and ordered a size large for a loose fit. The length is fine but these were way too snug for confort around the rear and thigh areas and would not close around my waist. When i measured the waist with a tailor's measuring tape, I got 31 inches. Would fit a 36" waist with the elastic band fully expanded. Not comfortable... Unfortunately will be returning these for a refund...

Unfortunately, after rolling in these in MMA for a few weeks, the Velcro in the shorts started peeling away. The stitching is not resilient to heavy movement on the mat. Can't use them anymore.

A little tight on the thighs, but the rest of the fit is pretty good. Great material, very comfortable.
