Great value!
This is made very well. Could be a lifetime purchase. Arrived well packaged with no damage. Easy to use and clean. Appeared to be pre-seasoned. Heavy, but that is what makes cast iron so durable and efficient. Great buy.

Very pleased
This press was exactly like I was expecting, even a little better. It is heavy duty cast iron, and presses a beautiful tortilla. My family is also happy with my purchase since they get perfect homemade tortillas!

Gracias

This think is tough!
I use it for Tostonis as well as tortillas! If you have ever tried to smash raw plantains you know how tuff it is. I broke my first press which was plastic. This one is extremely durable and comes with plenty of parchment/wax paper rounds to use when making your tortillas.

Good Customer Service
This is an updated review. I was originally very upset because I received a tortilla press that I could not attach the handle and it was useless. I reached out to their customer service team however and they were very helpful. They replaced the product no questions asked. The new press I received works great and I am happy I made the purchase.

Solid but lopsided
So I just opened it up and here's what I like. It is definitely heavy duty and has a good solid cast iron weight to it. Very easy to assemble, I only had to tighten a couple wing nuts. What I don't like and you can see from my pictures, is the unevenness of it. It closes firmly on the hinge side while leaving a varying gap all the way to the handle side. The handle doesn't go flush to the top like the old one I use to use. Maybe that has something to do with the gap? If you don't mind your tortillas being lopsided then this will be a good fit. If they would fix this issues it would be a great piece and I would purchase them for my daughters and sister. I am going to try it and see if it really makes that much of a difference. I will update my review afterwards.

STOP!! TURN AROUND! CLICK ON A DIFFERENT PRESS!
Will be returning! The box was open, all of the pieces were spilling out and don't seem to have actually ever fit in it completely. The items appeared to have been returned...but who would blame the previous user for returning it? I certainly don't. Besides the open box, there were no instructions for assembly. Not like instructions should be needed. It's pretty simple to put together, right? It's a no brainer. Thats what I thought too. The screw that assembles the handle is bent, making it difficult to put the handle on. No matter which way I put the handle on, it never actually closed down to press the plate. Can't press tortillas when the the press doesn't actually PRESS. The only positive thing I can say is, it is a heavy weight cast iron.
