This is Fantastic!
Ok I am Highly impressed! I am super taste sensitive about any low Calorie/artificial sweeteners. They all have that fake taste and I can’t stand almost all of them. I heard about this natural birch bark xylitol sweetener on a You tube video she was using it in her coffee, actually “ Bullet Coffee” and she said tastes just like regular sugar. I am hear to tell you she was RIGHT. This tastes EXACTLY like regular cane sugar. The texture is not powdery or weird, it dissolves just the same way. It’s granular but just a tiny bit bigger granules but not as big a fancy baking sugar sprinkles. And like the bag says it’s spoon for spoon equal to cane sugar. Again I’m highly impressed. This definitely passed my expectations and passed my morning coffee test! :) I definitely recommend for all, will absolutely be buying again and I’m going to tell everyone I know.

Product is not the same
This is not the same product I’ve been buying. Packaging is the same, but the taste and texture are totally different. I do not recommend using it. I wish it could be returned.

Xylitol : your teeth will thank you
I bought this for better dental care; it great for keeping away the plaque. Put a little spoonful in your mouth and swish it around until you feel like spitting it out. I do this once a day to keep plaque away. Because I hate it when I go to the dentist and they scrape my teeth. Just brushing and flossing isn’t enough to keep the plaque away. But if I swish with xylitol once a day uptop of the regular brushing and flossing then I don’t have to deal with getting my teeth scraped. Because then there is nothing to scrape. Xylitol is sweet like sugar but I don’t swallow because I have a sensitive tummy. The biggest side effect of ingesting xylitol is diarrhea ; I’m not sure how much you have to ingest for that to happen, I just don’t want to find out on accident. My teeth feel extra clean now

Birch or Hardwood Trees Xylitol
I ordered the 12 oz. bag. The package I received had some differences than the one pictured. The Amazon listing photo said Ingredients: Birch Xylitol and the front of the package said All Natural Birch Xylitol. The package I received said Ingredients: Xylitol and the front of the package said from Birch OR Hardwood Trees. Just wanted to let you know in the event that you were definitely expecting birch.

A good quality of xylitol.
I recently learned that some brands of xylitol are now made from corn, rather than beech. Such substitute seems to affect the taste, and can cause problems for people who have corn allergies or intolerances. Note, start using small amounts initially to see how your GI tract microbiome tolerate this new substance. You should be able to increase the amount you are able to use in your drinks and cooking by easing into the use of this substitute. (I did not have any trouble with my digestive tract, but other people have reported problems with rapidly switching from sugar to using xylitol in all cooking and drinks). In all, I will continue to use this brand as it has performed well for me in all the cooking I have used it in.
