There are some very nice affordable alternatives out there, but this Fossil Carraway stood out and looked to have a good specification with a reasonable size, not too small or big. My watch arrived next day (fantastic desertcart service) in its ‘boutique like’ green painted tin box (nice touch Fossil). It was in a flawless condition but surprisingly running with the crown pressed. I ordered the FS6077 with rose gold ss case, dark green croco 22mm strap, silver dial, black numerals and rose gold ’syringe’ pointers. From the internet I understand that the movement is a Japanese Miyote (Citizen) standard type that takes a common SR626SW, R377 battery. Hopefully this will give a battery life of up to 3 years. If it matters to you the accuracy should be better than plus or minus 20 seconds per month. I have a 6.5 inch wrist and the watch is a perfect fit with a lug to lug size of about 41mm. Having no day or date makes it easy to set. If I’m not using a quartz watch, I will pull the crown to save battery. Should you want a different strap, the quick release mechanism makes this extremely easy. Would have liked “blued’ effect pointers but this seems to be available on other Carraway types.
