Premier Faucet 284456 Soap Dispenser, 17.5 Ounce, Chrome

PLEASE SEE MY UPDATE AT THE END OF THIS REVIEW!!!Units are made of plastic but the appearance is good and they match my Kohler faucet perfectly, thus the reason for the purchase. One unit stopped working and I' having to order a replacement!!!!One of the 2 units I purchased keeps plugging up (has a small diameter hole) but the other continues to work satisfactorily. In one unit I have hand soap (Softsoap) and the other contains dish soap (Dawn). Even though the dish soap is thinner, that unit that keeps plugging and quits working. Soaking in hot water for a period of time seems to clear it but it starts plugging again after a short period of time. I've switched the units around but the same unit keeps plugging regardless of the type of soap. I believe it is something malfunctioning in the internals of that one unit.I've had them both a year so doubt there's much I can do except pay for a replacement if the problem continues. It is annoying and I'm having to waste $$$$$ to replace and match. Hopefully this one will not also be a DUD!!!!!-------------------------- NEW UNIT ARRIVED -----------------------------The new unit arrived and has been installed. Now, about 5 months later it has stopped working!!!!!! I hate to order yet another unit as it too may have a problem and quit working after a short while. Not sure exactly what to do!!!-------------------------------- UPDATE -----------------------------------------The unit quit working after less than 6 months of use. After scrolling all around I was able to locate a telephone number for Premier Faucets. The gentleman we spoke with was very understanding and appeared to be aware of the problem. He said the spring in the unit has probably failed and they are aware of the problem and will be shipping me a replacement.If he follows through, it will be good customer service and has changed our overall opinion of his unit! We like the appearance as it matches our Kohler faucet unit. Even though it is plastic, the appearance is good and looks like brushed nickle.

This. Thing. Is. FANTASTIC. lol. I know, I know... its a soap dispenser.Ok, So perhaps its because the one I currently had, hasn't been working for {what seems like} forever... but still... It really is Great.Right out of the box, it was exactly as I expected. I can't quite figure out why people would say it has a "cheap appearance" or it's "poor quality."Were these reviewers expecting it to be cast iron, or solid steel.... for under $20????...lol, Seriously!?... Its a soap dispenser people.Now for those who are confused, since the listing only shows the nozzle itself (and nothing else).... It DOES include the bottle and what not.I've attached an image of what I received, so you know what you'd be getting if you decide to purchase.Before even "installing" it (which was super easy by the way)... I filled it with water to make sure it actually DOES what its SUPPOSED TO DO.Sure enough... It worked! So all is good at this stage in the game... no complaints here!At a Decent Price... it Looks Great, Works Great... so you know what?... Its just Great, Plain and Simple.Overall, Ignore the haters (as I did)... because I am very satisfied with this purchase, and I think you will be too.

Very nice. Haven't touched the old dish washing liquid bottle since this was installed.Pros:Great price.Looks great. Bright chrome that looks good with any chrome faucet style.Simple install. Fits in any common sink sprayer hole.Saves money on soap. Pumps just enough for a load of dishes, or to wash hands.Can be refilled from the top, so no need to screw around with the reservoir bottle from under the sink.Cons:Pump's suction tube needs a check/foot-valve. After some time the liquid soap drains back into bottle so that the pump needs to be pushed a couple times before dispensing any soap.Needs a remote reservoir hose kit option. With a longer vinyl tube fitted with a check-valve you could just set an economy sized dish soap bottle under the sink and just stick the tube in the open bottle then just replace the whole bottle when empty.Have recommended this soap dispenser (as-is) to others already.

We received our soap dispenser and immediately added a one way valve so we could attach it to a larger bottle of dish liquid. This item works really great and we don't have to refill the enclosed bottle (which is small and would require it to be refilled fairly often). Great look to it as an addition to our kitchen sink. Next move, we will order 3, so we can attach to the bathroom counters as well.

Enjoy having a soap dispenser at my kitchen sink. This isn't the cheap looking finish and it doesn't flake off. The only issue I have had is spilling the soap out the top when I add to much in - user error. I also wish that it didn't put out so much soap on one pump, but I've used several different brands and models and they all tend to do the same thing. Installation can be easy or difficult, it really depends on your under counter space. I installed a different brand for a friend and it came with a tool that allowed you to reach up behind the sink and secure the grommet and nut, which made it easier.

After a couple months, works good still. Looks nice. I have 2, one for hand soap another for dish soap. Both stay primed. Haven't had any trouble with the containers yet, but it's easy to see how they could break like other reviewers have mentioned. That's okay though, I can find another container if needed. The important part, the pump, works good. Refilling is a little tricky, but I could say that about every other soap dispenser I've ever refilled too. Actually, refilling anything kind of sucks. Anyway, this is a good soap dispenser and I recommend it.
