Beetles Dip Powder Clear Color, Transparent Nail Dipping Powder

I love the way this stacks on top of other colors for a flawless dip finish. It’s not too potent either which I love.

Obviously I’m no professional but I love this product! I have used it twice now and honestly couldn’t be happier!! It’s super easy to use and I love all the colors I got!! I got the mermaid set this time around. The first time I used it I was super nervous and only did two thin layers and didn’t make sure I push my cuticles back and was quick about dipping and tapping my fingers (those are all mistakes I made, learn from me). This product is pretty much odorless, the only thing that smells is the activator and it isn’t even that strong. I recommended this product to everyone!!! The powder jar sizes are honestly a great size, they come almost full and you really don’t use a whole bunch each time so that will last for a long time. The bottles of the liquids all seem light but you don’t use a lot of those either, so I am curious to see how long this set will last. I’m sure I will have to buy more of the polish bottles before I run out of all the powder, which is fine by me!! If you are even thinking about wanting to try this product, do it! You won’t be sad that you did!! The only thing I will add is when you use a glitter color, glitter will get everywhere. I can’t say that that is 100% normal and will always happen, I used it when it was hot out and we have fans running in the house, but i just wanted to put that out there.

Colors are bright and vivid with only two layers. Glitter dips really sparkle. Super easy to use but a steady hand to apply the glue is helpful. It takes me about 20 minutes to do both hands. Easily removed by putting acetone soaked cotton balls on nails for 20 minutes. I bought the clips to hold the cotton place. Colors do occasionally chip or Crack but they are easy enough to redo. This saves me soooo much money its worth it to redo a nail here and there. Otherwise generally as good as salon quality, would probably chip less with three layers. Does not ruin nail underneath and while I dehydrate prior to application I do not file down the surface of my nail.

I love these! I have been looking for a good all in one beginner kit for nail dip. I bought the “mermaid” color set. I usually get my nails done at the salon using Kiara sky dip powder but I didn’t want to spend that much on a dip system with only one color in case I messed it all up horribly and ended up wasting everything. These are pretty easy to use. Everything you need is in the kit except for a nail file. It was all very nicely packaged. This was my first time applying dip. There is definitely a learning curve. The liquids are relatively easy to use and labeled well. The powder goes on easily and evenly if you applied the liquid correctly. I noticed I missed some spots on the sides of my nail so either powder was thinner there or not there at all. I have no idea how many times you can use each liquid before you need to buy more since I’ve only done two complete applications so far. The powders I opened so far are very fine grit and the glitter is also very fine. All the jars came individually sealed except a pink one that wasn’t completely sealed and made a bit of a mess. I took off one star for the smell. There is a very strong odor for not being made with some of the chemicals they list. The powders have no odor, it’s all the liquids and maybe that’s all of them regardless of brand but it was so strong I could smell it through the two boxes and cellophane wrapper. The smell is stronger than acetone and I find it more unpleasant. Other than that the colors are all very pretty, the top coat is very shiny, everything dried very quickly (under a minute) and I look forward to using this again.

I love this powder! There is a bit of a learning curve, but once you get it down you can have professional looking nails for weeks. The pictures uploaded are the 4 times I've used the dip powder and has the color used written on it. 3 out of 4 turned out really well and lasted 2-3 weeks before they start lifting. The second attempt the polish was cracking and chipping by the 3rd day, but I think it was user error. I started giving each layer more time to dry between liquid coats and making sure to use plenty of activator at the end. That seems to have fixed the issue. Using this product is really time consuming, but I think the results are worth it. If you can avoid getting any on you skin it goes faster, but I always get a little on my skin and then have to take the time to file it off before finishing the nails. This last time (purple with silver accent nail) is the best manicure I've ever had and that includes when I've had them done at a salon.

I have been doing dip nails on myself since 2017. I have always purchased from a different company, but needed this color asap so I took a gamble and I ordered this color and this Beetles brand liquid kit. The color is beautiful AND it's very possible that it has nothing to do with the dip powder itself but rather the liquids.. the liquids melt my formed tip so I think it alters the integrity of the extension and then I have had numerous breaks at the tip since I did these nails and I did them pretty thick in the location that they are breaking at. I would say that the color and the dip powder are probably fine to use. Pat, anything else from this brand I would be weary in terms of the strength integrity, unless you have incredibly short nails or are working on very short nails.

This went on beautifully! I usually use OPI but decided to try this. Not disappointed at all! Love that this color, x563, is sort or sheer. Looks very natural. Used Beetles base/top and activator. Great quality for a great price. Will be buying more.
